beautiful voice but not Joan Baez. Baez has a very distinctive voice. I don't see the comparison at all. But a lovely voice and rendition.

Amazingly identical to Joan, both Joan & Dylan take me to places emotionally & spiritually that I cannot describe but continue to listen to these same songs since the 60’s . Now Dylan’s movie & i & my kids & grandkids will be front & center ☮️

I must have listened to "Diamonds And Rust" (analyzed it, cried to it, obsessed over it, played it on repeat only God knows how many nights until sunrise, etc) close to 100,000 times by Joan Baez, and almost every other singer who has sung it, and by this, I mean that without exaggeration, I know every word, emotion, and nuance of what the song meant to Baez when she first wrote it and sung it. Of course, only Joan Baez could sing it with the weight and meaning of the immersive subject, but that being said, I assure you that Allison Shapira is only second to Baez in putting as much soul into the song as the original. Bravo Allison

Has meaning for me because it makes me think of a girl I knew in the 70s and all my bittersweet “woulda-shoulda- coulda” memories. And speaking for me we could both could have died then and there when I was at the happiest time in my life

Brilliant interpretation of this classic song, one of my all time favourites. You really capture the vulnerability of this song, that you spoke so perceptively of in your introduction, and also have the lovely guitar part down so well. Thank you.

If many people perfectly imitate Joan Baez then they make Baez look like one among many and take away his originality. Please do not imitate, make your own productions, do not deny your souls.
