We just need to solve the equation (n - n0 - 1) ^2 = (n - 1)^2 - n0 for n0. If there are 0 solutions, the system is Not time invariant If there are countably many solutions, the system is conditionally time invariant. If there are infinite solutions, i.e., for all values of n0, the system is time invariant. Is this correct?

Dear Professor Kathleen Wage, there is a mistake at the beginning for y(0) = 2. It should be y(0)=2 instead of y(0)= 0. For y(n) = 0 for n<0. Final results are here: y(n) = 0 n <0, y(0) = 2 n = 0, y(1) = 6 n = 1, y (2) = 12 n = 2, y(3) = 18 n = 3, y(4) = 14 n = 4, y(5) = 8 n = 5 I did both methods and same results. Thank you. All the best

You are the best teacher ever Professor Kathleen Wage. Convolution was so difficult to understand. Now I know everything. I am preparing the FE electrical computers exam. Don’t take my words for it. She is the top notch ever in the United States. I wish add you as teacher. Thank you for teaching us.

10:54 K moves from minus infinity to infinity. Shouldn't y[0] also include x[1] x h[-1] = 2 and add it to the sum?
