A lot of people don’t know this. But the runway that is painted on the east concourse is because back during World War II it was a training facility for pilots. How do I know that? I designed the sound system, amplification, digital processing and the control system. I also helped design that score board. All the AV equipment in the offices and conference rooms. I had to learn the history of Joker Marchant field. It took almost 2 years to design this. But it turned out great! It used to be a flight training facility for the US army and British pilots during the last part or World War II. Hence why there are still hangers out there where facilities operates out of. You’re welcome for a little history 😊

I live right across the river in Granite City IL. Busch is my home Stadium. I go to Cardinals games as often as I can. I love Busch. I love the atmosphere, the fan base, and especially exploring Ballpark Village. My favorite place in the world is Busch Stadium.
