at 22:37 we see the first quarter has a forecast of 175 for both 0.1 and 0.5, how was this calculated?

Hello Sir, I have a question about forecasting. Should plan corrections be determined during forecasting? Or is it not necessary to determine them? Why is there an extrapolation? An extrapolation is absolutely necessary.

great stuff, thank you. I am doing an online class on this and its easier when someone explains it than when I just read it. Very helpful!

The biggest bottleneck in any organisation is often the control freak who wants to approve everything with the futile HR performance review cycle that never tackles the problem.

This is great. The most concise and easy to follow video on process mapping and the underlying details that I have encountered. As an industrial production manager without a degree, I have seen a few. This one is the best, hands down.

If the waiting time is more why dnon`t you take as bottleneck process?
@abrahamlemma1616
@abrahamlemma1616 6 жыл бұрын
when you change the process time from 20 to 10 min you have to take the bottleneck the process having 10min but when I see the waiting time it is 15 min. why don`t you take the waiting time as bottleneck than process having 10 min?
@JadyGrudd

Probably because he was explaining the manner in which the bottleneck affects throughput time. He had just addressed the subject of identifying the bottleneck, and clearly (explaining your point perfectly). The error is one of context.

In the bottleneck Example #1, after the categorization of loans, you should take the weighted average of the parallel processes. Since we are not given the percentage of the cases for either checking for credit rating or entering the loan application, you can make an assumption and continue based on that.
