Amazing! Similar to my father in laws, the only difference is he uses ginger, oregano, and oyster sauce for the sweetness. The ginger kicks it up a notch.

Well! That's a very nice video. Very clear and appetizing. We can see the sauce get thicker, it really looks promising. Some people just put everything together in a pan and start cooking it, I am sure this technique is better. Today I drove to another city basically to have this for lunch, and I was a little disappointed, it was under seasoned, no sense of vinegar and spices at all. No harm done, but this food suffered the same fate that Taco Bell brought to Mexican food. I then went to the beloved "Manila Bakery" nearby and the reliably delicious hot food was pretty much sold out. Too bad! So it's another thing you have to make yourself, and here we are!

Not neccesarily. Someone elses actions can make you feel sad or happy and that isnt always a choice. Trying to negate these feelings by attempting to choose them is neural programming and will turn us away from being human into automiton. Thats not a world I want to live in. I prefer to remain human no matter how painful that may be at times. I am living through it and developing into a fuller human. Anything less is devolution into something distinctly not human.

We just returned from a fishing trip in Michigan where we caught 8 King Salmon. The Misses wanted to freeze the heads for making sinagang but i insisted she keep two of the heads for me to grill. I will do that tonight and try to put a Filipino twist to them. She really loves sea foods but chases me out of the kitchen if I try to cook seafoods using American recipes. 😂

What kind of vinegar?
@leonardpearlman40173 ай бұрын
There's Philippine vinegar! Cane vinegar, palm vinegar. In America I think our usual vinegar is made from coal. This dish has a strong flavor, it might be that anything would work.

Suddenly Uncle Roger bursts through the wall like the Kool-Ade Man! Shouting "Why so WEAK? Haiyaa.". Well it might be salty enough, maybe a little M S G? Sold in all Asian markets. I'm making this right now, will probably add some chicken stock powder, just out of habit.
