Babylon Leather sells pre-cut kits with everything you need to make one. The holes are predrilled, edges finished, and in many cases straps and handles preassembled. The kits are very affordable (considering Herme$) and are on sale right now.

Those are slick. If the multitude of led strip lights I've used taught me anything, it's to use something physical to keep them in place(bracket, dots of CA) as that adhesive loses to gravity. 😁

Years ago a knit and felted this adorable hand bag. Everyone said OMG you could sell those. Materials alone were 160.00. Factor in my labor, and I could not price the bag to be affordable. She did an awesome job on this bag.
