BFM was the first guy I became aware of using modern gospel chops. I heard him on Usher’s first live album back in the 90’s. And he absolutely blew my mind. Still an unbelievable album to this day.

Fyi, all: "Kai Hahto - the virtuoso drummer and man behind Nightwish's drum kit - will bring a completely new concept to the Apollo stage in Helsinki on Saturday 3 February 2024. As the name of the show suggests, the main role of the show will be played by Kaitsu and his drumming - alone. This unique ensemble will include songs from the catalogues of Nightwish, Wintersun, Swallow the Sun and Auri, not forgetting the surprises - all from Kaitsu's masterful drumming perspective."

Then, just casually: "Try it yourselves" 😂 (A bit like Floor with ... what was it - the ultimate singalong... shoemaker? No.. the one with the astral things at the end.. laudato si ad astra... well, whatever 😁 )

It's easy to see how Kai earned the nickname the 'Human Metronome'. His skills are extrodinary. Of course, he's put the ground work in, playing drums since he was 7! Such a lovely man, too.

This guy is the most under rated drummer. His acoustic electric hybrid is genius and his base chops are fierce.

For that saying about being patient. In America....In the Bible ,Jesus said," All good things come to those who wait."
@CATwithHATsDrummerBlog3 жыл бұрын
Actually, the phrase is originally from an old English proverb “all things come to those who wait.” This may have originated from the poem "Tout vient a qui sait attendre" by Lady Mary Montgomerie Currie, who used to write under her pseudonym, Violet Fane. ✌️

I am immensely proud of my young "grizzle" Brian Frasier Moore for the musician that he has become, but more importantly, the person that he is. A great blend of confidence and humility. Brian Frasier Moore... Moore than music.
