Of course Android supports MIDI (API level 23 to be specific). The man doesn't know what he is talking about or just covering up Yamaha is just ignoring 85% of the mobile market Very smart Yamaha.....

Slow down, Herman. This is about the Yamaha DTX502 Touch App, which is only available for iOS at the moment.

CAT with HATs Slow down? The guy said that Android didnt supported MIDI which is the reason it wasnt for Android and isn't true or he simply isn't capable informing the viewers.

Herman, you are correct - Android started supporting MIDI after a number of DTX were developed. The various Android operating systems and devices make developing MIDI apps difficult - Yamaha is working with the Android developers and continues to pursue a solution for Android users.
