Thankfully, I haven't been scammed by this guy, but I'll keep an eye out and report back to you or any of the other creators if I find any of his listings! What a shameless thief. Your patterns are beautiful! Great work, keep it up 😊

I can see that you are handling the tails as you finish the squares. How easy/difficult is it to "join as you go" when you have multiple squares connected?
@remedy964813 күн бұрын
Absolutely fantastic! This is stunning! I’m floored by how simple each piece can be, although it definitely takes dedication to create all the parts and put them together, however, the final product is soooo well worth it!

Being a quilter who uses half square triangles to make my blocks, I’m thrilled to know that half square triangles can be made in crochet. What a treat! Thank you.

Just finished my first block and I’m glad that I found this explanation for join as you go. I’ve never done it, and I was wrapping my working yarn in like an extra time so the joints were a little more noticeable.

Beautiful patter. Thank you so much for holding the hook in the traditional way and not as a screwdriver…..I’ve been crocheting for 50 years and seeing the ugly way so many are using the hook these days truly hurts my eyes.
@creativechaos95311 күн бұрын
Well... It depends😢i've started learning crocheting several months ago, and tried to hold the hook traditionally... But my hand started hurt😢😢😢for me holding a hook like a knife (or a screwdriver) is ok🤷♀️
@CyndiAnneAdventures11 күн бұрын
I can't hold my hook that way because my RA and hands just don't agree with holding the hook any other way, then like a knife or screwdriver. I don't really see it as a right or wrong way. I think it really just depends on what's more comfortable and adaptable for each person, individually. 😊
@Traci_Websinger10 күн бұрын
There are two traditional ways (that I'm aware of and I've been crocheting for over 40 years and following the crochet community for about 25) for holding a crochet hook. One is to hold it like a pen and the other is a like a knife. Neither is superior to the other. You may find that some techniques are a little awkward, depending on how you hold your hook, but you make do or find a work around. You also may find some ergonomic hooks don't work for you. Don't laugh, but I crochet like a pen with my right hand, and I crochet like a knife with my left. I am seriously out of practice lefty. I used to teach crochet and being able to show left handed students was helpful. I'm in the camp of, "it doesn't matter how you got there, as long as you got there." Don't even start with how you hold your yarn, lol. (I also have RA and some days, it's interesting.) 😊
@madcricket70425 күн бұрын
What a stupid comment. There is no "traditional way" to hold the hook other than what you learned and works for you.

Si lo haces todo del mismo color eliminarás el efecto ‘patchwork’, que es lo más bonito e interesante de este patrón.

*****WARNING - If you did not purchase this pattern from madebyanita.co.uk, madebyanita on Ravelry or madebyanitacrochet on Etsy, you have bought from a scammer AND he has charged you more for a stolen pattern than I charge as the designer. His name is Mohamed Adid and he is selling stolen patterns on several sites including creations by Leila, minimalist crafts, nataliescrafts and many others and all the patterns he is selling are stolen from designers like me. He uses several names, Leila, Natalie, Kelly, Lisa J Paddock are the most recent ones. If you have purchased from this man, please email me at [email protected]. Thanks so much. Anita ********

@robinalvarado214929 күн бұрын
I’m a little confused when you say don’t turn at the end of the candy cane stripe . So I fasten off and the attach my red to the other end and then do the tapestry part(turning at the end of each row)?
@robinalvarado214929 күн бұрын
Love this pattern and the tutorial is very helpful. I started my blanket using a 5mm hook, and I sized up to a 5.5mm for the snowflakes section. I counted all my stitches and tried not to pull too tight on the yarn being carried. When I finished the candy cane stripe after the snowflakes, my blanket was very “wonky” looking . The green and cream part is now all wavy and the tapestry part is tight and looks smaller than the beginning rows of the blanket. Do you think I should go up a whole size to a 6mm for the tapestry section? I’m going to have to “frog” that whole section anyway.

I ❤ this but how do you work this method along with the join as you go?

I have another question. I did 150 stiches for row one and two. And I was supposed to have 5 pumpkins but I needed up with 7 pumpkins. How do I fix my blanket from this situation?
@FaithlessHealingАй бұрын
I did the same thing, what I missed was that she did the black row not 10 times but 20 stitches in between the pumpkins. Do this and you will have your 5 pumpkins
@Liyah_J101Ай бұрын
@@FaithlessHealing oh ok. Thank you so much. That was very helpful. So all I have to do is 20 instead of 10? And do I js keep following the graph js the same? I js have to do 20 stiches instead of 10.
@FaithlessHealingАй бұрын
@@Liyah_J101 if you look at the pattern, it has 10 black stitches at the beginning and 10 black stitches at the end. So you end up doing 5 back to back complete patterns of the pumpkins, like if you put the ends of the pattern together it would have 20 stitches together, not 10. Think of one pumpkin as 1 pattern, after your ending set of 10, begin another pumping pattern with another set of 10
