His ass does NOT run a 1.62 ten yard split. half the nfl runs that. I’d imagine ur dumbass included reaction time because 1.4-1.5 is what even 4.3 runners do

I recently tried out for the Baltimore Nighthawks and sadly didn’t make it but I know I’m not the best player. I refuse to be trash in Football so I’m going to be training hard for the next year and I started working with a coach

Meh. Max strength actually has a loy to do with explosiveness. Every single sprinter can squat like twice their bodyweight. Explosive lifting is not shown to improve explosiveness much more than normal lifts, especially normally lifts when excecuted as fast as possible (even when that's very slow). In the end more strength is more force and more force is more acceleration. Relative squat strength has shown to be one of the most reliable predictors for speed and jump height. Of course there are a ton of other factors, e.g. plyometric or reactive strength, that should be trained through fast and explosive movements. The idea that heavy lifting makes you slower is completely wrong, unless you make heavy lifting a priority and bulk to ridiculous levels for strength

Really good video I like the way he broke every drill down, especially the last one where he talks about turning around as soon as your partner yells out ball you turn around to catch it. It gives them that reflex quickness.
