That’s great to hear you have friends like that. But, I strongly believe that you have to be a very lucky person to have friends like that in the first place and most will never have that.

Yeah I guess you are right, luck can be a factor for some. But I really do believe we can all have amazing friendships in life and find the right people to journey with along the way. Might take some effort and work but I think it’s possible. I believe in miracles 🤔

Lord’s Prayer: Ancient Aramaic Direct Translation * Oh birther, father, mother of the cosmos, you create all that moves in light. * Focus your light within us, make it useful as the rays of a beacon show the way. * Create your reign of unity now through our fiery hearts and willing hands. * Your one desire then acts with ours in all light, so in all forms. * Grant what we need each day in bread and insight, subsistence for the call of growing life. * Loose the cords of mistakes, binding us, as we release the strands we hold of others guilt. * Do not let us enter into forgetfulness. But free us from unripeness. * From you, is born all ruling will, the power and the life to do the song that beautifies all, from age to age, it renews. * Truly, power to these statements, may they be the source from which all my actions grow, sealed in trust and faith. Amen.

Glad you shared your story, my D.O.C has always been illicit/prescription opioids, when you’re dependent on a substance it feels as like permanent brain fog. And I found out quick just like you said that you’re a reflection of who your friends are. Disconnect from the friends that don’t have your best interest in mind, and just heal!

Overcoming addictions is so much easier said than done. Wherever you’re at on your journey, comment in here with whatever you need in order to better hold yourself accountable to actually creating the change you desire in your life. Remember that when it comes to overcoming a crappy habit or addiction, we must always replace the negative habit with a new positive healthy and real habit that is equally impactful and which delivers a renewed and natural dopamine release… For example: If you want to remove the habit of doing hard drugs or heavy drinking on a regular basis, you will need to begin implementing intense activities that push you outside of your comfort zone, such as sky diving, cliff jumping, bungee jumping, etc… things such as these induce high levels of natural doses of adrenaline, dopamine and endorphins which all hold an equal peak of stimulation and excitement, thus allowing you to transfer or swap your addictive behavior with the spirit of adventure. I’m here to help you all in any way that I can, so don’t hold back. Don’t stay silent. This is your life and it’s time to start living it to the absolute best of your abilities. In all ways and always.

Would be funny to make some cardboard signs with sharpies that say “workout area” and to stake those in the grassy areas of all your fave gas stations…see if anyone is brave enough to come and join you 😂 Another thing I’ve done is set alarm reminders on my phone in intervals to break up the day with walking, push ups, air squats, etc. especially for those who have jobs that require sitting for hours on end. Break it up and move the body. The body craves movement and resistance! 💪🏼

That’s brilliant! Along those same lines, there’s a pretty intense navy seal alarm schedule where you do a 20 minute alarm through the waking hours and pump out 10 to 20 pushups every time the alarm alerts you. Simply put… the pushups get pretty hard after a few hours 😂

This is great bro. It’s a paradigm shift…we all need to realize it only takes choosing to take 10-15 min a day to do something different, to change it up, to break the routines, to expand our comfort zones and realms of capability. God really did create us to become so much more than we are now and we can each choose to activate that higher level of desire and awareness for ongoing personal development anytime we so choose! Each day is a new day; a gift; and that’s why each moment is called: the present. What will we do with the presence that God has given us on our lives? Let’s choose to make our lives a little bit better every day! Love it. ❤

Through our active experience we can gain a better understanding and perception of what constitutes sure footing. Learning by doing and by taking action. We won’t learn by standing still or not venturing out, literally and figuratively. If we stumble and fall…we learn from that, get up, get better and get stronger in the process. AND we are then better positioned to lead others in life and show them the way. Keep on striving! 🤙🏼
