Great pattern, but please use a lighter yarn for people who can’t see as well.

So bummed. I thought this was for a beginner. It’s not. Lost me if the first minute and a half and I even watched it many times. I had to go to another site to find out how to do a magic circle. Where can I learn how to crochet?

Thank you for this wonderful pattern and tutorial. Makes an awesome men’s hat. Could be adapted in size for a woman as well. I’ve tried other patterns but this is a winner!

I love this pattern. You are so easy to follow. I love making this hat. I want to ask you about the crochet hook you are using. I have one like that one but do not know where i can get more like it in different size hooks. If you could tell me the brand and where i could get them I would greatly appreciate it?

I’m not sure what I did wrong. I followed along with the video and made sure to count and the hat was too small for my 8 year old son.

I loved the pattern but not sure how much does one skein measure ( in terms of meters )so how much would I need? Can I use just one colour? Would I still have to keep clipping and rejoining?

I don’t count. I just do it by how it looks and will fit. I do different color combinations too.

I just finished making this for my son who works in a cool environment. He really likes it. I used black for the main color and red for the stripes. This is the first time I have worked a herringbone stitch and I like it.

Hellooo, i loved this tutorial so easy to follow but the finished product was too small for a bigger head.. how do u recommend getting to 24inch or more with this pattern?

I love this hat. I have made 6 of these including one for my Grandson. For my Grandson's hat, i just started with 9 herringbone stitches instead of 11.

I just crocheted this hat. It’s way too small for my husband’s head and tight on my head. Next time I make it, I will be increasing for a few more rows not just increasing to the 6th row.

This is so easy to follow. Thank you for your tutorial and easy, patient voice. I’m on my porch outside and getting ready to make some of these. I, too , have cancer and I make beanies for the other patients. Thank you so much. Most beanies are very feminine so I feel like the men don’t get many options ❤

How do you determine the size? I noticed in the comments that some were too small for them. How do you go about this in adjusting to a bigger or smaller head? Cause no head is the same.

I had so much fun learning this pattern. Mine came out small but I think the yarn I chose was a tighter blend and I tend to make tighter stitches, I'm going to try again and see if I can find the yarn you used. Are you able to post the written round instructions? Sometimes that's easier than stopping and starting video. I agree, you're a great teacher though, cery easy to follow. Thank you!
@graceau98854 ай бұрын
Very clear instructions. It would be better if a light colour yarn is used so that we can see clearly.
