Ancients definitely need a rework. Pulling a leggo should be way higher rates. As a F2P saving up 50 ancients takes about a month maybe less now if you get lucky on GB2 and not getting a single leggo just feels bad. The rates are crap.

I think I'm ok with the rates now that they're giving us more, but I do think they should adjust the mercy. Either adjust ancient mercy to start at 125, which is the long run average for hitting a lord, or add in a separate mercy around 100 for non-lord Legos. Going 200+ without a Lego, which takes 3-4 months of saving without spending, is so demoralizing.

I got Jeera from the Praetus banner but I'm 189 towards pity so far with no lords. Ancients were great for me when I was in the mid-game, got a lot of good heroes and lords that boosted my account. But these last two banners were kind of a let down. If they released the Ingrid banner 1 or 2 weeks later, I probably could've saved up enough summons to hit pity but oh well.

Yeah I really wish they'd waited a couple of weeks on the Ingrid banner. The way they did it, especially with the high point total in the summon event, felt predatory after all of the anniversary stuff. Par for the course in this genre but I've come to expect better from Moonton. Sounds like you'll be in good shape for the ancient exclusive NM lord though!

I feel your pain Bluntguts. I pretty much had the same rates. I finally got Ingrid after spending 2000 euros on ancients - i believe that this is the price we need to pay in order to push our luck with the chances that ancients give us. Its a joy watching your videos, keep on going!

I feel your pain. Prior to the anniversary I went 190 with no legendary and then rattled of 5 in my next 193 to include Valderon, Praetus, and Ingrid. Ingrid came 37 after my Praetus. Keep on keeping on...

300 ancients this weekend l. A2 twin and A0 Cyrus. I Missed Praetus and Ingrid and I am sad. It's whatever though. Cyrus is very good so I'll count my "blessings". Definitely not buying ancients most likely ever again.

That sucks man, but Cyrus is arguably the most versatile hero in the game. I have him on my F2P and absolutely love him. I get it though - not what you were looking for and while great he doesn't unlock content like Praetus does and like Ingrid may moving forward. Ancients are just too pricy for what they are imo, every time I spend on them it's a reminder of why I shouldn't 🤣

It comes in waves. I pulled Venoma on my third ancient ever, then went 180 ancients without a gold before hitting Uredin and then Aracha at pity. Then I had a hot streak and had really good rates for a while. Now again completely without gold for 150 summons, just hoping there's some more good stuff around the corner...

I got dross this entire weekend but my last ten pull on legendary pity didnt give me Hatsut but I got Silas. I will happily take that. Hattsut, ingrid and praetus will have to wait.

I had similar luck. No Ingrid from like 40 ancients. Also 500 shards and 10 divines until I finally got Hattsut.

Nice video, thank you. I've got a question regarding Khamet damage. With each awakening his damage decreased meaning that he was killing enemies much faster and they were not healed by totem as much? This is the only reason I can come up with as why his damage decreased. Meaning that he does much more burst AOE damage than Ingrid actually. What do you think? Maybe you explained this in video but i didn't get it.

Hey, I tried to explain it in the video but may not have been clear. His rate of damage didn't decrease, its just that Ingrids damage increased as I awakened her, so the enemies died quicker and Khamet did not have as much uptime. Like you pointed out less heals going out because the enemies were dying faster may have contributed to it too. Hopefully that makes sense! Since heroes can only do as much damage as the hp of the enemies they kill I think damage share, or the heroes percentage contribution towards the total damage, is a much more important metric when comparing heroes damage output

Appreciate the detailed comparison. Will definitely love to see her viability in more endgame content like void rift epilogue and especially GD1/2 since a lot of ppl are still struggling to clear the higher stages of GD while at this point, GR1-21 seems to be more about min maxing.

@@Keough- no problem!! Yeah at the end of the day this was more to test aoe output, GR1 is just the best spot to do it. I don't think she's going to be particularly helpful in the spots you mentioned unfortunately(maybe GD2?) due to her aoe range, but I'm not well versed in those dungeons so I could be wrong. She'll be great in arena, GB2, and GvG for towers at least. Generally just a great champ to have - she'll likely be useful in future content as well
