My first real concert saw him with three dog night at swing auditorium San Berdoo. 1969. He was great so was Three Dog Night. Great memories

Used to crank this one up on my college radio show back in the early 70s. It sure sounded good blasting thru the studio's JBLs.

And then there was the time when I got up on stage & danced with Lee & Frosty through the whole show at the Swing. Didn't plan to. I was back stage & didn't have time to get around to the front to see the show from the audience. Purple mini skirt, white platform shoes. Put my purse down on the floor next to me & rocked out with Lee & Frosty. Just straight up excellent.

I saw Lee and Frosty in Davenport Iowa in 1971. His concert was promoted for the week after my expected Army discharge. The theatre was kind enough to hold two tickets for me. I went with a farm girl friend. We sat on the floor and I unloaded the doobies into the crowd. I was only six months back from VietNam and still crazy. Lee was late and then he forgot the lyrics to Stormy Monday. As messed up as we were he was farther out. It made no difference and made me love him even more. Long live Lee Michaels 🎉🎉

When Lee came out and hit that first chord on tell me how would you feel, it would just literally hit your chest, and then he was off and running. I will never ever forget Lee and Frosty! Yes when the pioano thing got going, I lost interest, but the world kind of like it.

Lee is perfection and so was Frosty who I was privileged to chat with briefly shortly before his passing down in Austin. I wish Lee would forget about the shrimp and come back to what he really knows. Shrimp restaurants or the B3? I know which one I want.

RIP Frosty who died last year.

I was at the Monterey show. It was an afternoon show, my friends and I were waiting by the entrance when he started doing a sound check with "Day of change" opening chords, VERY loud. After the show, we went to McDonalds in Santa Cruz, and by chance he walked in with his girlfriend. I bought him lunch , told him it was a great show, and later watched him drive away in his mini-cooper down highway 1 towards San Francisco.

Sounds exactly like when I saw him back in 1969 at the Crusty Rubber in Garfield Nebraska. I'm tellin ya man Frosty threw his drum sticks up in the air and one bounced off the Leslie speaker flying into the crowd and landed two rows in front of me. Thankfully the speaker was ok
