Very interesting topic! But what I also find problematic is that so many drink herbal teas without thinking/knowing that it could have negative effects. I had a colleague and she drank about 2l of pure peppermint tea everyday and wondered why she had huge stomach problems. Tasting nice isn't all a plant does.

Would "Salt" correspond with the Ascendant in the natal chart ( physical body), and "Mercury" to the Moon sign of the native ( emotional life), and "Sulphur" to the vital energy of the Sun sign? Thank you for taking the time to respond. I love learning from you, Sajah.

I'm only 10 minutes in, and i am fascinated (yet still skeptical) of the body reacting to the herbs, regardless of actives in those herbs. Also where does one begin to be a herbalist? Do I need a school, or official training? How long did it take for you to reach this level of insight? I am envious of your knowledge! I have been dabbling in essential oils and carrier oils (for hair care/skincare) so i have some sort of knowledge of these things

You can take them AM or PM or both. I'd take them 1-3x a day. As for kid friendly, it depends which herb.

Chamomile tea is among my favorite. One blend we use nightly is mullein, chamomile, peppermint, and lemon balm. Sometimes i'll swap the peppermint with spearmint, or add some self heal and echinacea just depending on how we're feeling. I'm trying to grow enough herbs to sustain our use without having to purchase any.

Oh my heavens I so agree with this! It’s like we forgot why we are doing holistic health and medicine in the first place. We balance the root cause of the imbalance not focus on the symptom(s). Hence why a truly healthy diet and lots of daily movement is first and foremost. I myself don’t feel good when taking in things like turmeric. It’s super important to seek out someone as educated and well rounded as you are. Not all herbalists are created equal. This is such a great channel! Thank you for doing such a great job and being so articulate! 🥰😎
