You have taken this as percentage... So can i conclude that whatever we have got through THD block, that can be taken as percentage by multiplying with 100 ? Is it work for every simulink model ??

A three phase fully controlled converter is supplying power to a separately excited DC motor drive of 1.75 kW, 200V, 10A, 1200 rpm. The armature resistance and armature inductance values are respectively 1.2 Ω and 1 mH. The supply to the converter (rms value) is 220 V at 50 Hz. Obtain the current and voltage waveforms in the source side and on the motor side (i) when the motor is working at a speed of 1000 rpm, while delivering rated torque. Calculate the firing angle of the converter theoretically for this operating condition and verify that the motor’s working through simulation. (ii) Change the firing angle abruptly to 60° and check what happens to the speed of the motor after the steady state is attained. Get the waveforms for both operating conditions. (iii) Further, if SCR device 1 (T1) gets short circuited, show how it affects the functioning of the converter. please give solution

Both voltage THD and current THD are shown in the video. Please go through the entire video. Input 1 is voltage and input 3 is the current waveform in the scope.

Pulse Generators in this model are used to trigger the Thyristor devices. And Th1 and 2 are to be turned on during Positive Half cycle and Th3 and Th4 to be turned on during -ve Half cycle (then only they will be forward biased). As we use a 50Hz supply, T = 20mSec. Positive half cycle - 10mSec, Negative half cycle - 10mSec, So if trigger pulse1 is given at t1=0, trigger pulse2 is to be given at t2=t1 +10mSec. (at a phase delay of 10mSec).

May be that transient part not visible, your scope may be showing the last some points of your plot. Make it to show the entire region of simulation (Time axis from 0 to simulation time) How to check the plot details you can get it from my earlier Videos like kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqDYY6yaasaZopI
