Pulse Generators in this model are used to trigger the Thyristor devices. And Th1 and 2 are to be turned on during Positive Half cycle and Th3 and Th4 to be turned on during -ve Half cycle (then only they will be forward biased). As we use a 50Hz supply, T = 20mSec. Positive half cycle - 10mSec, Negative half cycle - 10mSec, So if trigger pulse1 is given at t1=0, trigger pulse2 is to be given at t2=t1 +10mSec. (at a phase delay of 10mSec).

​@@anastinsasini1341one full conduction = 360° Time period =1/f = 1/50= 20ms To find time at 90° (90/360)= (X/20) X= t(@90°)= 5ms
