How did get it to transition from the conventional spin to the inverted without it going into a spiral dive, or did in reality un-stall the wing before entering the inverted spin as you pushed through?

Great airmanship ! Nice glider, I havent seen one before....it looks like a single seat Puchacz...(which I fly), are they common ? I am beginner in aerobatics...maybe I should look at buying one of these? What are they like to own ? What manouvers are restricted ?

Has does the 59 winch with the reduced span, do you loose much height, also how does it soar in short tips?

I fly from a club without aero tow. All my flights are done with winch and I have no problem with either launch nor thermals. I think I even prefer the short span for thermals but of course my range is a bit limited compared to 15.5 meter - no biggie though....

AeroSign I flew a Std 3 it was in the UK a bit heavy to climb in our thermals, however I told in Poland, Ukraine etc it was spot on with their stronger thermals and higher ceiling, I guess you may do quite well in Denmark if you are well inland, with stronger thermals than we have in the UK. Do you know if its possible to retro fit with the new 17 m tips?

Well I fly from the small island in the middle of Denmark - not really known for strong thermals like the mainland. But the Acro in 13.5m manages quite well in weak thermals too. I am sure the new 17.5m tips can be retro fitted, just ask Allstar they are normally very responsive.

Yet he did a winch lauch without holding the cable release. Tells me the pilot is in the "l am brillant, years of experience" mode. The mode where lots of accidents happen

@@monza1002000 Well spotted. We see that a lot. Luckily, he's an ace pilot and would be able to do a safe inverted landing if he needed. I don't know if it is the layout of the Acro, but he had to lean forward quite a bit to reach the handle. That may have been the reason why he didn't

Very nice video! I was wondering though, why you would keep your phone mounted and you camelbak with you when you take off to fly aerobatics?

Yeah you are right about the phone - shouldn't be needed, I like it there though for navigation purpose. Camelbag however is certainly necessary - all my flights are winch launch and thermal up. Need water for 2+ hours :-)

No aerotows at your field? Just seems like unnecessary 'loose' objects to distract you (or worse) For XC, I completely agree with the phone and Camelbak though :)

Thank you for the comment! I did read up on the Vimeo encoding quality but they also do not offer 60 fps playback. So I just went with KZbin because I already got a channel :-) But the KZbin encoding is pretty harsh especially on fast moving areas like ground shots during the spin. Higher bit- and framerate (like my source) would have helped a lot.
