Can I do Steven's setup to the new batch YLM? Will it work great?
@tigersandcats10 күн бұрын
Yeah it works just as well as on an old batch. The only change I make is sometimes I remove 2 magnets from the tips rather than just 1, I'd try both because new batches can be a bit inconsistent
@arnautousmateu10 күн бұрын
@@tigersandcats Thanks, I remove 2 magnets instead of one then? Gl at euros btw, I'm looking forward to meet everyone

Is focusing in 3x3 to 7x7 considered all rounding or specializing?
@tigersandcats5 күн бұрын
I think that's more specialising than all rounding because you're focusing on a set of events that largely require the same skills and have a lot of carry over to each other

With my YLMs I do the steven setup and then just do small but frequent top ups of weight 5 to the big flat parts between the edge and centre pieces. I'm going to do a video more generally about when to relube cubes sometime in the future but small and often is usually the way to go

i have a question, is it really that important learning full l4e, since intuitive l4e is the same thing and i already average around 3-4 seconds with intuitive l4e
@tigersandcatsАй бұрын
@@skansky__ Depends how fast you want to get. Intuitive L4E is definitely not the same thing but until you start one looking or learning more advanced algorithms it basically serves the same function. But if you want to improve to be averaging low 2 or even sub 2 I'd say it is quite important to learn full L4E
@cubewerkz8990Ай бұрын
There are worst puzzles out there.L with th poor quality turning or lacking replay value. Rediminx and Mixup Skewb 3 are still ok but as with most non-wca puzzles, you won’t solve it quite as often. Just figuring best ways to solve last steps or optimise some steps.

To anyone, who already have a bell v1/v2 I say the tips of the ylm are far better than the bell v2, but not as good as the v1 The turning feels between the both, the corner cutting its pretty good If you lock up with the v2 you can change to the ylm if you currently main the v1, id recommend it if you want a lighter magnet strength

If you to go cstimer, put 2x2 on the left bar at the top, then EG0 on the right it will give you just cll scrambes. Also if you search cll alg trainer there's loads of websites that also have that functionality

Absolutely and perfectly what I was looking for! 🥰 Brief, concise and thorough. Contains exactly the algs I use/like, including good recognition tips and finger tricks. On top of that: Excellent video and audio quality, perfect pace to follow, no ads, no clickbait, and it's the first one I've looked at from the search results, which is usually not the one where I think I don't need to look any further (but this one definitely is). So, thank you very much on so many levels! 🤗

How many moves should the average v take, and how much should the max move count be? Roughly how long should tips take to solve?
@tigersandcats3 ай бұрын
Average optimal v count is 3.57, so basically get as close to that as possible. If you're doing tips all at the start you should be able to get them done in less than a second, and if you're doing them throughout the solve then it's pretty difficult to actually tell how long they took, but it's just getting it as fast as possible.
