I relate... I purchased an LV wallet back in 1995. It peeled and cracked. Never again did I want another LV product. Back then, my wallet cost me $215 approx. The Client Advisor wouldn't admit it was poor quality. I never looked back and never bought a Louis Vuitton. Funny, 26 years later, Louis Vuitton still has the same issues. You guys are getting fooled by the brand. Can never understand why so many here on YT continue to buy crappy bags made by LV.

My question is more geared towards obtaining a visa. What would generally disqualify you? When I got a visa to work in Korea they just needed an FBI background check is that the same with Kuwait visa process. Would something like a traffic violation in the US affect your chances of getting a work visa in Kuwait?
@tequiladenise77874 жыл бұрын
VthaVixen sorry for the delayed response. No a traffic ticket will not prevent you from entering or being accepted. They are checking for hard crimes. Those with warrants and extremely questionable backgrounds. You are fine if it's just a traffic violation. I hope this helps💜

Dayne McKenzie The school follows an American curriculum so that’s why it has the word American in the name. You will be paid in Kuwaiti Dinars through a bank account the school will set up for you. My mom's LV and Chanel bags from the 80s and 90s are holding up well (my mom doesn't abuse her bags but carry them on special occasions btw). The ones now aren't the best quality bc my new LV neverfull started to tear slightly on the handles within a week of usage and I wasn't even rough with it. I follow purseforum and many people that have both vintages and new bags confirmed that the current quality for LV, Chanel, and Gucci etc., have decline over the years. Now that I am older, I'd rather invest money for quality non-luxury designer bags that uses top quality Italian or Japanese leather.

I work at an American school now. So I have changed schools since this video. School housing is pretty cool. Where you are housed depends on your school. Some schools will give you money to find your own housing if you don't want the accommodation they provide. However, school housing is fine. I would recommend coming in to take school housing. You'll be with other teachers and that's best starting off in a new place. Kuwait is safe and you have nothing to fear coming here. Keep in touch and let me know when you make it.

@tequiladenise77875 жыл бұрын
Teacher Keesha salary pat scales vary from school to school. However, here's a little something I've learned since being here... Schools with the word American or British in the name pay more. All others ( ie Bilingual schools) generally start at a lower salary. However you should know Kuwait has the highest currency value in the world at the moment. Multiply your expected salary by 3.29 and that will give you your salary in US dollars. A ticket to Philadelphia from Kuwait usually costs my husband and I about 900 to 1000 round trip in the summer. We have the option of letting the school book and pay or they give us the money and we shop around and buy it. I hope this helps. Good luck on your interview.

Most private schools will allow your child to attend for free if you are working at that particular school. You will have to file for residence for your child, but that's after you make it here and there are people to assist you with this process. If your child is not of school age you may hire a nanny for a reasonable price. I hope this information helps. If you have other questions please ask. Thanks again for watching this video.

Hey, this is a question in regards to money transfer. What's the easiest method transferring dinar from Kuwait bank account to US bank? Is PayPal transfer available? Can you link a Kuwait Bank account card to an US PayPal account?
@tequiladenise77875 жыл бұрын
stampsprint That's a good question. I'm not sure about PayPal when it comes to linking or transferring your money from Kuwait. however, my husband -friends and I have found it to be quite easy when transferring money from our Kuwait account to our USA bank account. You may link the accounts and transfer online at any time or you may visit your nearest bank branch and they will assist you with your transfer in the banker. There's typically a charge when you transfer using a banker, 5 dinars. This is equivalent to about 17/18 us dollars.
@stampsprint5 жыл бұрын
That's great news. While I was living and working in China, I banked with the largest commercial bank there ICBC (school I worked for had a contract with them), there was limited information regarding bank transfers. There was so many hoops I had to jump through. Not only that, I couldn't withdrawal my money from ICBC bank in USD currency. Only citizens of the country were permitted.
@tequiladenise77875 жыл бұрын
stampsprint oooh wow, year I've heard a few stories about transferring money from China. It's totally different in Kuwait. We even use our Kuwait bank cards in other countries when we travel. You simply let the bank know where you will travel to and they will make your funds available for your trip. It's the same with the school setting you up with a bank here. We didn't choose our bank, although we did have a choice to do so. But I hear your salary would typically be delayed a day or two when you use a bank other than the one the school uses. We were good then with what they chose. Lol we don't want any delays over here. Lol 😆

I taught in China last year. Very similar visa/document verification process. I can't believe Kuwait wants transcripts certified if they're already asking for the diploma. I figure it's because of fraudulent Diplomas. Great information. I plan on teaching in Kuwait City this year at ABS.

Hi is it true that I must have a perfectly clear criminal record with nothing at all on there including minor violations to get approved to work by the Ministry of Education?
@tequiladenise77875 жыл бұрын
Danielle Washington Heeeey! I hope all is well. To answer your question when you are seeking work overseas you must have an FBI check which generally is a more in-depth criminal search. If the FBI is looking for you or you have warrants then you have a problem. Minor traffic violations (ie speeding tickets and/ or )toll violation and any other traffic situation will not prevent you from working. I know personally from my side I had an outstanding speeding ticket and I was paying monthly through the courts and was fine. So think of it as this... get an FBI check and if that’s clear you should be good. That document along with other requested forms ( ie medical records, diploma, degree(s) etc) is what you will need to get through the process. You will be fine. No worries chica, you got this 👍🥰

Nothing about a high school diploma...But I haven’t heard anything else from HR since I sent photocopies of my transcript, teaching certification, degree and passport on April 7. The only paperwork I’ve signed thus far was a letter of intent. It’s only been 20 days... so I guess I’m just growing a bit anxious. Also, the school that hired me is American Academy for Girls in Salwa, Kuwait. How is that area? Also, I heard the Ministry can reject you for having traffic violations and/or unpaid tickets. Is that true?

They are not accepting criminals and people wanted by the FBI. Simple traffic violations won’t keep you from getting your job. Please look for me on FB when you come...
