We still have so much Potential but it is so sad we are being invaded by Thousands of young Single Illegal Immigrants who hate us and want to do us harm. These Valiant men should be deployed at Dover and if that upsets our Treacherous MPs ,Thats Good !

If you look at the individual troopers, the riflemen, you'll notice their style includes unbloused boots and no belt around their waist. Very different from the US Army, whose troopers always wear a pistol belt when on parade. I like the battalion colors, carried with honors.

34 years in Canadian Army and these guys struck me as being as good as I’ve ever seen. If the old adage “drill is the basis of all discipline” is true, these soldiers look fit for any operational task. The applause welcoming them home is good to see.

I apologise if I offend anyone about this comment but as a pure Scottish ex soldier and patriot, can I ask why do we have military bands,eg,trumpets, flutes etc,we are Highland/lowland Scottish.Pipes and drums are our tradition.I will probably get a good roasting on this.Just the way I am folks.

Nah mate it’s ok. I also think it’s quite weird. I would’ve thought that the Military Band( or like the musicians idk) would’ve only consisted of pipes and drums for the Scottish Regiment. Especially due to tradition. Maybe it’s because of the Royal Salute or something, Idk 🤷‍♂️.

Absolutely brilliant to see my old Battalion put on a faultless performance like that. I served 14 years with 1 R Anglian, and every time the band strikes up with the Battalion Quick March, Rule Britannia/Speed the plough, I am immediately full of pride. Well done guys from an old Viking. Stabilis!

Great to see this. Unfortunately here in Germany the Armed Forces aren't respected by the people. When German troops came home from Afghanistan they weren't even visited at the airport by the Minister of Defence.

That's disgusting. I am ex British Forces and I served for three years with Bundeswehr soldiers. They were great guys and I had the honour to call many of them and their families, my friends. As a matter of fact, even though we were stationed in Holland my first child, my daughter was born in Germany, as was I. One of her god fathers was my boss, a Oberhaupt feldwebel and the other a Stuffts. These men and their families served your country with honour and pride and they deserve respect for that. They were bloody good soldiers to a man.

@Bepolite thanks a lot. I come from an officers family myself. I have always admired and respected those who wear the uniform. Unfortunately the Germans are full of self hate. They even take pride in it

Yes and there are a few other countries that could learn from watching this video. After seeing this, I am somewhat ashamed of our people and our government for not standing behind our troops and that our troops are somewhat to blame with their lackadaisical attitude and a bit sloppy. Thank you Brits for a great video. God Bless.....And a snap to presentation absolutely great !!!
