the girl who is interviewing her sat her at a bad angle, I don't know why. She could have sat her at the same angle as herself. The interviewer has a million plastic surgeries, but she sits the guest at a bad angle for what? The guest shows how a woman without plastic surgery and with good self-care can look

Arielle obviously has lots of botox and fillers in her face. It's so misleading and disrespectful to tell her audience otherwise.

Three thin women talking about how they eat healthy foods but it’s not a diet because they don’t care about being thin. Sorry, but you are missing the point. Escaping diet culture means escaping the need to control one’s food. Obsessing about eating healthy ends up being the same trap.

I enjoyed the interview; it reinforced that I am doing things correctly. However, I don't believe the stated ages designated for the most substantive aging changes. Sure your face changes somewhat such as fat distribution. I found this to my benefit and liked the way my face slimmed out as I got older. I am one who has always looked younger than my numerical age. And I did not notice anything negative about my skin due to aging until a few years into menopause. At about 55 (now 58) is when I first realized "oh my God I look so old. Look at these jowls!" This only happened in the last few years. And I have never done anything with cosmetic procedures. Didn't even moisturize until my 50's. I started hormone replacement in August and I just got my first botox last week. It is very subtle and I just feel I look refreshed and plan to continue with it. I eat well, have always exercised and do all the skin care now - vit c; retinoid; glycolic acid, etc. I'm also getting that pulsed dye laser next month. I do believe in healthy vanity. I feel great doing these things for myself that I have contemplated for quite a while.

@daisyela4 you are wrong. Alex starved marriage for 20 YEARS. Emotionally neglected and sexually neglected. We both have trauma. But I have asked him FOR 20 years to get help. Do not come here and judge me when you have no idea what I have been through living with a SEXUAL ANOREX. Look it up. Dr. Doug Weiss. Sexual anorexia. Intimacy anorexia. I have stayed to keep my family together. But my husband is a coward. Stop judging me and do some research. Don’t talk out of your butt. Get knowledge lady.

This is my first time learning of these two lovely ladies. When Dr. Shereen said someone told her “Your problem is, you love humanity, but you hate people.” 😂 I suspect your birthday is in the last week of January to be precise. ♒ Why are we like this. LoL. Great conversation, and information. Don’t mind me. 👀

I personally think the reference to a certain age (early 30’s, specifically “44”, etc),when /how the skin ages is ridiculous and totally unfounded, whether it’s coming from “BC dermatologist or not”! While that may be true in general, we certainly cannot ignore the genetics/lifestyle factor, which play a HUGE part on how our skin looks. Also chronological vs biological age is a real thing ,and I think that most people don’t pay enough attention to it, and instead just focus on numbers, which can be depressing. Therefore, I think it’s very misleading to claim something like that and make people stress unnecessarily. Live well and your skin will show it🤗

I am 47 and my body fatigue tanked at 46 and I felt older. Once I turned 47, my skin and looks changed and I felt ugly and unsexy. It will happen to all people but women take it the worst. The hair goes too, it dries out and breaks or you lose it.

I'm right behind you at 39 and totally feel what you're saying! These changes are so real and yeah, some days are tough. I’m 45 and I feel the exact same way. And I’ve been focusing on skincare, working out for over 20 years…up to the point of obsession. I haven’t done Botox or fillers but have done lasers a handful of times. But aging trumps everything I’ve done and it sucks.

Amazing podcast. My fav so far!!! Loved it !!! The only thing is I wouldn’t use the word “mediocrity” as a positive word to describe “not being a perfectionist” or “being relaxed” because if you are going to do something you should do it good or not do it at all. However, there’s the perfectionist extreme which is also bad. But “doing good , not perfect” sounds better 🤣. Anyways, the podcast was amazing 🤩 will read the book
