I have an older Magic Chef and no sparker. We just set it for temp and then light the pilot. Mo gas = faster light

It has an automatic sparker built into it. In fact I'd be willing to bet that the silver button right next to the knob you're using is the igniter. Sometimes if you just push in a little harder the sparker will spark. I don't know if your sparker doesn't work and that's what this video is about but there's no description so I don't know.

Appreciate the video. How has it held up? I have the same setup jacks in the back. I just purchased the stabilizer kit so i’m trying to figure out how I’m going to do the back

Holding up great, although I don't move the trailer much. The back is pretty straight forward but all I had to attach to on my trailer was a piece of angle iron. Have to be careful not to adjust the jacks with the arms locked or it will bend the angle iron.

That’s not rod knock that’s pinging. Bad injectors, spark plugs, coil packs or wires.

It was constant. I pulled plug wires one at a time until I found one that didn't affect the idle. That was the bad wire.

Guys, There isnt gonna be carbon build up on the other 3 cylinders if the injectors aren't injecting on those cylinders.

It also doesn't run on the same 3 cylinders. It still uses all 6 cylinders.

@@rc-daily To the best of my knowledge it only uses 3.... Carbon builds between 190 & 290.... So if your not using 3 cylinders... It's not going to be hot enough to build...

@@duttydiesel8303 I'm not exactly how it works but a few years ago I read that it alternates between the cylinders so that all 6 are used. Maybe it uses say 1, 3, 5 then switches over to 2, 4, 6.

Yes fuel to all six cylinders, or just to three. Since it's an inline engine it's got balance running 3 of 6. The point is 3 cyl you want to warm it up real quick. 6 cyl is more of a maintenance position although it will warm ya up, just not as quick. The reason it creates more heat is because it's burning more fuel in those three cylinders to maintain the 1200 rpm. Basically creates fake load to the engine.
