That last fight is entirely determined with how you have mastered movement. I was watching you progress and it was cool to see the way your playstyle changed. Just a note, you can shoulder dash to make instant turns, and if you have your AC tuned for speed and long thrust you turn fights into a more one sided one. You just have to learn how to hold the controller different. Good video man, I miss 4A.

4 answer was my first AC game. Had a friend that got me into it years ago and now i cant tell you how much i miss being able to run a blade in each hand. I tried real hard to bring my old AC to rubicon, but it's not quite the same. 6 is still a good game, i just miss the speed of 4A.

The best way to play four answer is on a jailbroken PS3, that's how I played the game with my totally legit copy.

I would play it but I'm not playing an arm and a leg for a used copy. Maybe they'll re-release it digitally one day.

I poked around Armored core 4 but didnt really dove deep in it and am interested is playing through 6 at some, but i would like to point out there is another mech franchise thats been going on for a while and thats Battletech, especially with their MechWarrior game line. A different take on mech design and play but definitely still chugging along.

Awesome video! Quite an epic catch up to the series for me. I played Armored Core 1 on my cousin's playstation 1 when it was new, and I had loved it. But then for years hadn't had the time to play the others in series, and am finally back with VI. Still on the first missions and am having a blast!

You can really see fragments of Takahashi's brilliant writing in this game, more than any other Xenoblade If it's writing was more fine turned like gears was, it's be a timeless masterpiece. I really hope the remaster adds some more mechs, maybe some more xenogears inspired ones, I love the angel like Xenogears the most

I love Armor Core For Answer was so lit. I was so proud I SS every mission and loved that there were hard missions. You could make your Next anyway you want. And the tuning points were super extensive along with the stabilizers which was important so that your NEXT was balanced weight wise so your aim wouldn't drift.

I tried playing XC1 and couldnt get into it and dont really care to play the other 2. However, XCX is my #2 favorite game of all time. Most people criticize the story, but I loved it. The game isnt perfect, but it is nearly perfect to me and Im so excited to play the DE in march.

36:23 jus git gud In all honesty though this boss is quite pain in the ass with its large hp and some surprise attacks, but otherwise I really liked and beated it at 3-rd try. ps. though our second(technically 4-th) meeting i didn't like at all :)

Mecha isn't back. Armored Core has been ruined and is basically Sekiro with Gunden skins. Pvp is a joke and the missions are basic. Oh, the story is a rip off of Dune.

Ok, im gonna just say this aloud only once; as someone who is kinda 20 minutes to the party with my first entry being only AC6, I have been looking at older AC generations and kinda noticed something small but uncanny to me. It's kinda a two parter however. Firstly; man I can't believe that I've slept on this franchise, and that's from a guy doing Gundam models as a hobby the last few years as well. Second part; I kinda noticed that despite the different factions between the generations of AC titles, the designs kinda seem about the same really. I remember the Melander out of the gate, but it had a Machine gun kind of looking thing in place of a light on the chest from an older kit, so I'm like "ok, onto the history books to catch up a bit", lol.

great video, however I don't think this technically qualifies as isometric because of the way the camera rotates. Isometric rotation uses fixed views that are rotations of each other (Roller Coaster Tycoon 1/2). Not really important, like I said great video!!

I know I'm a year late, but I have to address the Ada Voice Acting. The complaints boil down to "this professional and emotionally detached mercenary sounds too professional and emotionally detached." So basically, the complaints just completely ignore the context of the character. Also, we all know the kinds of people that most of the hardcore haters were. I'm gonna continue bingeing your videos now.
