This is amazing, I resonate with absolutely everything presented here I have read the book a couple of times, but I do no remember the "choosing exercise". What is that?
@coherent_bodyАй бұрын
It’s the last exercise- making a choice. The concept of pre-choosing is something I teach in my online course. So glad you are enjoying the book!

Is the deeper going into the body (16mins) a deep decent at a cellular level that allows a 'letting go' to reach a place of freedom??... a freedom that can emerge from the past or present restrictions?
@coherent_body2 ай бұрын
@@mareegoulden6424 actually it’s less esoteric than that and more accessible in daily life- refine your posture and walking and you will fundamentally feel how to shift into presence when you most need it, you’ll understand how this feeds your most intimate stories your tell yourself, and because it’s multi-sensory, it’s fast-acting

Where does the movement start from? And does it return from the same point or is it a reversal? Would appreciate some prompts please.

The movement is activated from the sacrum and your front pelvic floor.

I value and am intrigued by your offerings of practices and distinctions for us a body beings I did a bunch if not all the videos available before the book and without the book when I first bought the book that were the course and that were the upsell I occasionally doing it immersively as focused follow along the video sessions And in my regular body being I read most of the whole book and did the practices of the book yesterday I been applying it more now Sometimes I'm not sure if I am exactly understanding how to apply it I always enjoy it I'd like to more formally immerse in instructive long time durations of official practice times with it and I go questions Thank you Sue!

It's a good one for sure! It operates on so many levels. Really great to have in your toolbox to remind your body how it's connected internally.

@@coherent_body hey dear I was just practising with this choreographer who goes through this position but then mobilises into a twist form there into traveling. do u have any idea why I feel so threatened to mobilise form this position of half stretch? it seems it takes so much of me to achieve the half moon stretch that after I am locked up and can't move through. ;) sounds a bit freeze-y but u might have something interesting to say x

Thanks for your comment! I'm always looking for new ways to move that emphasize accessing the deepest connections in the body. Look at the half-body stretch, it is one of the easiest and most effective things you can do to access this internal connection.
