What’s the point in using the 2nd when you can use the 3rd or is there a downfall to using quick setting

Good question! Sometimes if your'e not certain of how 2 pieces would fit, you'd want to avoid the quick setting incase you want to make some quick adjustments before it dries. Conversely, when you have tiny bits that have the tendency to get blown away or fall while drying, you'd opt for the quick setting.

Beautiful! Oemme ask you something, when you use the tamiya extra thin to get rid of the moldlines, do you have to sand again to remove the cement?

Heyo! I usually save the tamiya thin step after sanding. The sanding gets most of the big chunks out of the way, and the extra thin takes care of the rest. So to answer, no :D i dont sand anymore after the tamiya application. P

Good evening, much thanks for the feature of the Nationals! Super thanks as well for the special mention of the International Space Station model, it was built by yours truly 😊 the model isn’t actually scratchbuilt, though it had some scratchbuilt detail, the model itself is actually built from paper model kits designed by my good friends, and are readily available online for download and print for anyone to try building 😊

Thanks! I'm fairly new in the hobby, but I made the mistake of buying too many minis to at least reach 500 pts. I'm a bit close to 500 points for the 2 factions I want to play with, but so far batch painting can be really draining. I think I've gotten the swing of things by completing a mini per day instead of painting one color of 4 minis at the same time and working on the next color the next day. I found it more fulfilling to complete 1 per day with all the paints instead of slowly completing 4 at a time. Yes, I'll shake up my routine, I'll play with unpainted minis, I'll build the other minis that I want to play! I've held off painting the faction that I wanted in fear of messing it up by practicing on the other faction, and I thought, when I got to the actual faction that I wanna paint, I would be better. but halfway, it's kinda burning me out. So thanks for reminding me why I got into this in the first place, is to have fun!

Good to see you making videos Louie! My method for avoiding burnout is to always paint for myself. I try not to give too much thought to being efficient, profitable or to how things will be received on social media instead I paint in the way I find most enjoyable. I adopted this approach some eight years ago and have painted a few thousand models since then and hardly had a break from painting in all of that time.
