I really enjoy these Filipino hobby videos. I typically use two different sets of paints depending on what I'm painting. Opaque for layering and transparent for glazing. That way I can make the most of the natural properties of each paint.

Oh hey, Opponenttheory! Nice to see you here. What kind of painta do you use? I'm curious as to how you get those nice gradients on your posts!

@@LouieLovesMinis I mostly use vallejo model color, ak 3rd gen and golden fluid acrylics. The key for me is to focus on the contrast and not worry about the smoothness.

@@opponenttheory i've always wanted to try Golden! Maybe I should check that out next! Kimera is quite difficult to come by here :c

@@LouieLovesMinis Kimera are hard to buy everywhere! I don't use the golden paints for regular painting. They are too transparent and glossy for that. For glazes though they are fantastic. The new so flats are really good too. Very flat and opaque, the ideal complement for the fluids.

Have you tried Zurc acrylic paints? Which is better compared to Hiro high-pigmented acrylics?

I actually havent tried zurc! Been wanting to get my hands on a set. I heard good things tho.

For a beginner po, which line is better ArKom or Arcus? what I meant with beginner level is I never tried any techniques yet such as layering, glazing for color transition etc...

ArKom :) its more transparrent so its a bit more forgiving sa mistakes
