My favorite part was how the electricity gets comfortable going in one direction. I love these videos. They crack me up. I wish he’d do a video about digital cables. Those truly are my favorite!

Do a loop impedance test on any piece of wire of decent guage in a audio system where the lengths are minimal i.e.. Speaker run 2 to 3m per channel, nothing between any cable, they all measure much the same. A lot of mumbo jumbo being said here.

The equipment being used with the cable is unknown to the company and is random. Nothing draws electricity the voltage/ pressure pushes it through.

Geez that is a beefy power cable, did you make that your self or buy off the shelf ? And do you think an aftermarket makes a difference in sound ?

Please explain how these are Roon "compliant". They are not Roon Ready, nor are they Roon Endpoints, so I can't just plug in my ethernet cable and play Roon from my office server to my living room using the Roon App.

I own both of them ( latest akito) The Arko is better and is a worthwhile upgrade for the money. The Scottish made MK2 and MK3 akito arms are way better than the Japanese made original. I have used both with Linn's top end moving coil cartridges on various LP12 configurations with outstanding results considering the cartridges cost way more than the akito tonearms. The Arko tonearm on the same decks did retrieve more music and is closer to the Ekos SE

Hi, the Arcam SA30 is currently selling in the USA under 2k. Would appreciated your help in identifying if this SA30 is worth it? Any known issues with this SA30 that is worth mentioning. I pan to use this with a pair of KEF R3 Meta speakers. TIA

@audioconnectionaus9 ай бұрын
So far we haven't had any issues with the amps. Since launch we've installed about 80 pairs, and we have had one fail but not an amp issue, ended up being a problematic wifi chip that was swapped out and working fine.

I totally disagree. for having had them, I returned them. extremely far from a real hi-fi system. clogged treble and midrange, very messy bass. to flee for the price
@BenoSaradzic7 ай бұрын
@@youclement8124 i listened to them for hours. Disagree about clogged midrange / messy bass. The sound was exceptional and comparable to speaker/amp combos twice the price. I think the problem is your room, lack of sonic treatment.

Do I need a stream music for arcam sa30 or airplay quality is fine with that?
@audioconnectionaus Жыл бұрын
Airplay will be limited in maximum bandwidth - 16 bit 44.1 kHz. This will be fine generally speaking, but most high resolution music is 24 bit. So Airplay will still work and you'll still get music, but you won't be getting the maximum quality possible. Hope that helps!

Im intrigued by the ls 50 meta. But why call basically a plastic diffuser, a meta material? Is that what i should call my diffusers now? Meta material? Because it diffuses better than things found in nature? A bit pretentious. My only nitpick.
@mojojojo_BB Жыл бұрын
It's not plastic, it's an engineered material with specific properties.

I have to highly disagree about your praisal of the Bluesound App. This is by far the most frustrating and unintuitive piece of..design I've ever seen, ever, period. Nothing is working the way it should, there's no way to just select your inputs and sources, the presets only contain the first 50 songs of any playlist, this while system is insanely frustrating to use. Last night I spent two hours trying to disconnect the Bluetooth headphones I had connected and to get music okay through the analogue output again. It didn't work, so I cut the power and force-reset the Node. Now I'm trying to get sound from the optical input, out the analogue output into my headphone amp. You can't just select the output, the supposed "auto select" doesn't work, either. As far as I'm concerned, there's no way of getting this to work because basic, user-friendly options and menues just are not implemented. This is hilariously awful. I'm boggled as to how anyone enjoys this.
@josephfranceski1041 Жыл бұрын
Thing like this are never as easy to use as they make them out to be. That is my experience as well. I have been debating the benefit of the Bluesound Node X which looks cool, but is it really easy to use? I do wonder.
@yoyoh0neysingh7 ай бұрын
Naa man not easy to use. Been almost an year and play music via Bluetooth not through the app. Cannot find device it shows as always when wirelessly connected. Thinking of selling it as the interface is bad enough to be useless. Bluetooth quality is descent but I notice a difference with the app
