I have listened and watched soooo many videos on this subject and couldn't find a message that hit head on. Thank you Brenda... you are so on point... I got this POINT ON. I was about AGAIN to give up. I so needed this message -- simple but direct with added scriptures. I struggled for a long time feeling desperate, stuck, alone, rejected, etc. My HOPE has been RESTORED. I know that I am NOT designed to be ALONE. Now, I can focus on my QUALITY list. My mom kept me away from my dad , and the men she chose after him were shit! Bottom line she has grandchildren she'll never meet and I haven't spoken to her since 1994. Her loss not mine!!! Women I'm telling you it will come back to hunt you!!!

My oldest has no idea her dad isn't her real dad. Her real dad was abusive in every way. I got her out as soon as I could. He refused to buy food for us. My child was slowly starving to death. I had to do something. So I dropped dirty because he was forcing me to do hard drugs. They gave us both a follicle test after that. I got my ass beat for dropping dirty. A couple days later, CPC came for my baby. We placed her with a family friend. To this day we outright refuse to tell her until she's 18. She's 16 right now. I KNOW I'm doing what's best for my child. Maybe your mom did what was best for you.

Good video! I do believe the mother and father 'she kept you away from me' dynamic could be explained in a different way. I noticed you said she did not tell you who your father was and that's wrong, period. However, you also stated he was waiting on a call from you and he told you the "truth" about things. If he knew he had a son and never attempted to reach out, he is 100% wrong. The fact that you needed to reach out to establish a connection in adulthood is unacceptable. More often than not, fathers who are absent rely on the "she kept you away" argument because it relieves them of guilt and we tend to believe that a woman is emotional and vindictive, etc. We need to hold ourselves accountable. Although alienation does happen, it's wildly over exaggerated. There are men who will do whatever it takes to be in their child's life and there are men who will take the path of least resistance, and be absent because it's "too hard" or too much "drama". We have to hold men in our lives, including ourselves to higher standard.

My suggestion and number ONE for me. Are they rightly dividing the Word of God? The first piece of evidence is: do they believe in the trinity? If they do, KEEP GOING!! Pentacostal churches are not for the beginners. These folks are definitely believers in "FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT." And more than 20% of the Baptist churches are leaning Pentacostal. "Dry" churches: Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist. These churches mentioned are definitely Trinity doctrine believers. Except some Baptist believe in the Father Son and Holy Spirit. My suggestion to the beginners: get you some study Bible translations [NKJ-SV, NIV-SV, ESV-SV, Comentary, Strong's Concordance, Bible dictionary] a Bible that has *reference columns, topic titles. Reference Bibles let's you know this scripture is located in Old Testament and New Testament. It gives youana understanding that others have encountered the Word of God. The Topic bible's let you know of the understanding you should have of the scriptures you are about to read. For example, an NKJSV, Matthew 5:17-26 the topic here is "Christ Fulfills the Law." [A note regarding topic bibles. This is the topic for the NKJSV but the topic title in a ESV is Christ Came to Fulfill the Law or NIV-SV the topic reads **The Fulfillment of the Law. Jesus speaks of His purpose of His coming regarding the law [10 commandments//613 Mosiac Law's]. It's through Him we have forgiveness of our sins. Within these scriptures are 13 reference scriptures to understand what Jesus is teaching us. Having a good topic also keeps us from just continuous reading. The bible will put you to sleep by just reading without seeking understanding.🤣 Knowing scriptures will help alert you to spiritual teachings that are unhealthy for your spiritual growth. Because some will feed you "junk scriptures" because of their lack of knowledge. And seeking your "worth": money, time, influence all dealing with your money... how much you can make for them or give to them. ***BE Aware of False Churches 😇😇

I'm more interested in knowing if the church is woke. I'm not going to church to worship men but to worship the Almighty and live according to His laws.

What are some tips to consider during this waiting time of confirmation. So many people consider some of the things you said but end up in the wrong church for them because they are not clear about their calling. Great video.
