The guy who showed me this musical friendzoned me recently and I don't know what to do. I am 10 billion percent sure he cares about me too but he is going through a hard time right now in his life and I think the only thing I can do for him is be there as a friend. it is not ruthlessness that makes a monster. it is the malice, and malice comes from the loss of guilt. it is ironic and tragic that Ody learned the wrong lesson, that he only has the example of iteral gods and monsters in his life to teach him that following through and choosing oneself and the people we care about over foes is not the act of a monster, its the burden of a leader, especially a general at war. honestly i blame Athena for not finding a better way of communicating this other than "stop getting all emotional about it Ody, you big girls blouse".

when I first listened to this I thought this was the last song, then I found out it was just the last song of the first act, I really cant wait for act 2! Also maybe musical purists will hate me for this but watching animatics like this is my favorite way to experience musicals and you did a great job!

The music alone just rips my heart into a thousand pieces, especially because it's so... understandable. At this point, we all can feel how sad, how far gone, simply how incredibly tired he is. This song somehow feels a bit like a moment of clarity on his slow descent into madness, a little moment of self reflection... the last one, before he, well, willingly becomes the monster, and I wanna forgive him for it

i'm kinda torn on this song. 2:35 is where it loses me, up until then it's amazing but then that sudden break in tone and sound is just...not right. everything past it sounds amazing, but it's a very different sound without any real transition or buildup between them. like it could have used another 30 seconds to draw out the progression instead of jump-cutting to the new noise.

The shows that Odysseus has dealt with a lot he has a conscience that seems to fall but he tries to hold together you did amazing job at this and I hope you continue your work are you supposed to love how each of the threats he dealt with has its own tears showing that even though they might have been dangerous they all have their own bad outcomes but they tried their best to show that they are still living and trying to follow their own paths

My heart breaks for him. He’s lost so much and is scarred and ordeal isn’t through he can’t abdicate the responsibility or the pain while being judged by sanctimonious Gods with their own agenda. He still has to get them home he has too. I hope he doesn’t lose himself. Remember who you are.
