I will never forget, back in '92, when the girl I was going out with got a couple free tickets to a charity hockey game in Mississauga, ON. The game was presented by a local musical instrument store (remember Musician's Supply?) and featured 2 teams: Musicians vs. Radio/Television hosts who were former athletes. To everyone's surprise, the musicians creamed the former athletes! Why? I can still remember the announcer coming on the PA after almost every goal the musicians scored and saying "That goal scored by Gowan, assisted by Gowan!" You see, Larry's brother Terry was also on the team, and they totally dominated that game!

I love there lyrics, they have meaning to there songs which I love. I love listening to true songs that really happened.

I saw Gowan perform in Cleveland, Ohio in 1985 leading for Tears for Fears. 🙂
