It is always sad to me when we have to take down our Christmas decorations, however I know it must be done! I really love celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ! I used the expensive Giani Epoxy kit 3 years ago and it has since yellowed in many places and it has also chipped in many places. On top of that, the pouring and leveling method of the topcoat left me with some uneven areas and some small bubbles. I am not a "beginner" to projects such as these and had what I would consider some very unfavorable issues. Now I need to fix these problems. I was dreading using that kit again and I also wanted to get rid of the shiny marble look. This video was exactly what I was looking for and I love the simplicity of it. Thank you

My tree like that I call it my memory tree. I do have one ornament that was mine when I was a little girl I got up from my mom several years ago. I don’t know that she has a whole lot of our old ornaments or I should say had we lost her two years ago on Mother’s Day. She loved nutcrackers and had quite the collection. My daughter asked me last year if we could go through them and I asked my dad and he said sure but we never got around to it so this year when my grandson came over and we put the lights on my dad‘s house, I live next-door. But I saw the tub with some of her nutcrackers in it and so I had him get it down and brought it over to my house and then I was looking and I said get this one down too. I think it’s got some in it as well. It did and so my daughter picked out ones that she wanted and my sisters, the one from Texas happen to be visiting so she got some and my sister that lives here got some and then we took him to my brothers when we were all there and his two daughters chose what they wanted and my sister-in-law said well I’ll just take the rest. I took one that I had given her. It’s one on a rocking horse. I got it when my oldest grandson was born so eventually it’ll be his. My younger grandson that was here picked out a couple that he liked. She had a fireman and then he played football when he was little and we were able to find a football one that had his number on it so he has that. Long story longer sorry. But she still has a lot of tubs up there that we have to go through at some point and I’m sure there’s more nutcrackers. My youngest brother lives in Washington, we’re in Nevada. And I got a hold of my sister-in-law there and I talked to her and she said she would love to have one so I got one set aside for them as well. Brings back lots of memories going through those. We decorated the tree for my dad, but he just wants the bulbs on it. He doesn’t wanna whole lot of extras. So that’s what we do what he wants. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I’m so late getting to watch these videos after finishing decorating and I had to jump right into my baking because the Sunday before Christmas, I always have a Christmas tea and Cocoa, the girls from my family all come, extended family and a cousin came. Of course, my hearts, my two grandsons always stop by. So now things are slowing down so I can get caught up. Have a fabulous new year. I hope it’s a great and healthy one for you.

Becca, i just finished making some beads to correspond with my winter decor. Sorry the crud hit you. Me too. I love the interior styling you used throughout. Thank goodness for your helpers. This video was so welcoming and very calming. Your Santas are all tucked away with the red accents. I plan to get ready for Valentines Day. I'm taking down too. I came back from my small trip early so I could get started. My cousins weren't happy that I came home early but I'm going back over to visit in February. All of the decor I have to take down was burning a hole in my brain. I want all of my blue and white winter up until the first of February when I decorate for Saint Patrick's Day. It's a big deal since I'm of Irish decent. I always love your ideas and seeing your beautiful winter decor. I'm glad you're feeling better and I loved seeing kitties!
