Just for accuracy sake: No silver Holley Ford carb bodies ever. Some rebuilt carbs might have had their dichromate stripped off, which leaves them silver. Orange on air filter is black on dual quads. Wrong style air cleaner nuts, actual wing nuts are correct. Exhaust manifolds are raw cast iron. Fuel filter canister is black, fuel lines are gold. White heat riser tube should be on the passenger side manifold. WP pulley is black. Front carb should have operational choke flap. Rear no choke flap. Might be other stuff but this I noticed on the first run through.

May I ask whats scale (sizes) IS a 'studio scale', thank you :-)

I am not a troll and may sound dry, not meant to be condescending its just me, My background, designed and built my first filament printer in 2006, I have since designed and built printers for NASA, Blue Origin, and Space X, direct metal deposition done in two ways. First way is simple just like a filament printer but is tightly controlled MIG welder, the second way is is done in one of two systems powdered metal is blown into a laser beam or electron beam, melted in that stream and deposited on the surface. The powder systems are typically done in a vacuum chamber. NOTHING TOP SECRET HEAR he he he. Wish I had more time to make content to help people just not at a point in my life yet.

I know I am late to this video, but there are test that you can run in order to know what to set your support threshold angle to, those tests will be dependent on nozzle size, layer Hight, and material / temperature. Run a temperature tower that includes bridging and overhangs then run stringing tower, dial in those settings.

Outstandig build, I love it! I am wondering how you got the flashing frequency of the LED so low? I found 3mm Yellow LED's with 1hz that still flash way faster than yours. Kind regards.

Nice thing about Gene Roddenberry he was in to perspectives. The inside does really relate to the outside, unlike most sci-fi ships which were a large office room inside a fuslage LOL. From Bridge to Shuttle bay. Would like to see Polar Lights or someone come up with one that has Scott's engineering section but it would have to be a removal cut-away section.

would love to own it! Would make a great addition to my Star Trek Bridge model(which I am finding these days difficulty finding paints for accuracy) as for Exterior hull primary color, I assume light ghost grey is the color used by most and that is what the 1/1000 scale suggests. but I'd use lighter grey like aircraft light grey. For this and for that. paint selection these days is sub par allover the internet and local stores are non-existant. I guess painting and model crafting is becoming less and less popular of late :(

Pretty sure the reason MS 21 disappeared for a bit (aside from a few ships like SoDak and CV-16 Lexington) and replaced with dazzle patterns was because jap subs was seen as the more dangerous threat. Only when the kamikazes began taking its toll on ships did the Navy brought back MS 21

I have built this kit and will share with you two pieces of advice that I was given that worked well for me. Firstly join the front sections of each side of the fuselage to its corresponding rear section as this ensures a seamless joint. Secondly, when glueing the fuselage together, leave the last third of it unglued as this will allow you to spread it out into the slots in the upper wing surface, saving you a massive amount of filling and sanding. Hope this is useful for you and enjoy, I did mine in flight as I just had to have those wings in the lowered position.
