All of that notching of the angle iron is a huge waste of time, and just makes the joint weaker. If you’re concerned about the flatness of the 2x6’s on the bed, all you had to do was add flat washers between the board and the cross members. A box of washers is $5. Just saying. To each his own.

Need to make the frame stronger. Not to say you picked the worst lawnmower to do it to. Those mow great. But the frames twist so badly on them. If you were to put the engine on a Craftsman, or Murray frame I'd be much stronger. Also those mowers have terrible belt/ transmissions. They work pretty well but just eat up belts like no other

You can buy o ring in a roll and superglue them into the intake trough, make it a touch long and glue the ends together….super cheap and reliable seal too

Inline six, ford is inline, gm is straight six and mopar is slant....its not me being picky but the names are technically listed because thats the titles to the engines..

The tbird was the first ford to get the 4.6 sohc the Lincoln town car was the first to get the 4.6 sohc lincoln branded and the 4.6 dohc mark viii first gen was also forged internals then in 96 everything was cast. The mid 2000s navigator came with the optional 5.4 dohc same as the ford gt just derated obviously and again cast vs forged internals. So many cars used the 4.6/ 5.4 in supercars

Get the Alumna-Blast engine paint for intakes/aluminum and Cast-Blast for cast iron, they look exactly like fresh cleaned aluminum and cast iron and ive never seen a can that didnt spray lol IMRC I- intake M- manifold R- runner C- control Go to your local industrial gasket company and they will have an oval/flat style o ring material in any length you can cut to fit in the gasket groove for the discontinued o rings or look up some for a Duratec 4cyl, LS or any other brand that will seal the deal lol
