The explanation of "pulling the pole apart" was so helpful. I kept finding my grip/arm/shoulder strength failing during that part before, but this helped me get those back muscles engaged too, so i could actually cleanly pull my legs up (hopefully that makes sense lol) 🩷 thank you for always having auch great explanations!

Hey Chloe. is the weight of my leg supposed to be on my hand? I’m having trouble with the pressure on my hand, and when I lean back, I keep slipping off the pole."
@chloeuchida17 күн бұрын
@@rahaFdn no, the weight shouldn’t be on your hand! If it is, there could be a few reasons why: 1. You need a firmer hand grip so that you don’t slide down. Wrap your hand a bit deeper above the knee until your forearm is touching! 2. You might be struggling with mobility through your chest, back, hips or reaching arm to foot - stretch a bit more before trying! 3. Your knee hook could be a bit weak - try hooking your knee firmer and work on strengthening your hamstring. 4. You could have shorter arms compared to the rest of your body If none of the above work, grab the pole with your inside hand in front of your crotch (as you would in a Gemini / Outside Leg Hang) and reach your hand to your foot🥰 This is a variation of a Helix / Caramel Swirl that’s easier❤️ Hope this helps!

Is this move the same as the Suicide Spin?
@chloeuchida17 күн бұрын
@@rahaFdn suicide spin is an entry move from a standing position, and it almost mimics diving into the floor - hence the name “Suicide Spin”! The main difference between this and the Suicide Spin is that you are not grabbing your inside leg, and this is a holding trick vs Suicide Spin being an entry / transition move✨

@chloeuchidaАй бұрын
@@rahaFdn is your inside knee at hip height? Are you leaning your body away from the pole? in order to feel the tension, you have to push the pole away with your bottom foot and squeeze your heel towards your glute!
@rahaFdn22 күн бұрын
@@chloeuchida tnx. I did this move Chloé . 🤩instead of grabbing the pole , I try second variation, It was easier for me to leaning my body away from the pole. still, It's not very nice, but I'm trying to make it better. ☺ Is the position of the inner hand important in the first variation? (Maybe that was my mistake🤔)
@chloeuchida22 күн бұрын
@ yesss second one is easier as you’re using your hand to pull! Could it be that you need to strengthen your hamstring a bit more?🤔 Inside hand position for the first one is not the most important, it’s more of 1. Positioning of your inside knee and inside hip, 2. The tension from your bottom foot pressing onto the pole, 3. Hips pushing forward and inside heel kicking to the butt VERY hard, and finally 4. Your torso leaning away from the pole Let me know how you go xx
