I have a 93 royal lounge. I can't figure out how to access the headlight bulbs... Please help! The only downside is difficulty accessing engine, radiator, etc.

Interesting note: Our lovely British racing green as we call it actually came from a car race that was held in Ireland. The Irish gracefully allowed the race to be held in Ireland and out of respect for the Irish who are of course known for their love of green the British who took their race cars there had them all painted Irish Green. That’s where and how it all got started. A Mercedes Benz won that race!!!! As LUCK would have it. So the 1998 Jaguar XJR we see before us in your lovely video actually pays homage to Irish Green. It has a Mercedes Benz transmission. And the Eaton M112 supercharger is of Irish-American origin. I might add that the original rubber was Italian and Jaguar was own by Ford..at the time...but made by the British and the car is all purely British aside from a few little things here and there. Overall it’s an international hybrid and one of the very last original JAGS!!! :) Inspiration for the 4.0 L V8 came from Lexus/Toyota as well as in consistency with the wishes ( not demands ) but hopes and wishes of Ford who were very wisely quite freedom providing and hands off. Their purchase of Jag was also followed by a cash investment into Jag. But my understanding is that aside from that they remained rather hands off leaving it up to the good old boys and girls at Jag who had been there forever to design what they thought of as the perfect Jag sedan. And there you have it !!!! A modem classic !!!!! Big British Muscle in a Tuxedo

My own Big Black Lena. ( named after Blue Lena.. Keith Richards’ 1965 Big Blue Bentley itself named by him after his favorite Americans singer ms. Lena Horne. ) I’m thinking of putting a Cold Air Intake on mine. One that comes from Mina Gallery out of California I think. Two quick questions: 1. If I do install a cold air intake with the exposed red cone air filter set up kit and the stainless steel air pipe....( just to provide a visual description here ) ....can I just do only that or are there more tunings and modifications I’ll need to do once adding that? 2. I went to extra pains to not have my oil overfilled when I had it changed...electing to top it up the rest of the way myself.....only to have accidentally overfilled it myself. How much over the full mark do you think is safe?? I’m about 3 mm over when cold in the morning before starting.

Hello, Greg here in Toronto, Canada I’ve been meaning to talk to you again. Just did my Autumn oil change Oct 11-12 2024 on my own 1998 Black on Black XJ-R 84 hours of driving to get from Alberta Canada to Toronto in late August. No problems in a car of such ELK. :) Don’t forget also that the transmission in these is a 5 speed Mercedes Benz gear box. Nice Touch! A British Car with a German transmission. I do have a question

the same mirror I have in my 93 Grand Cherokee Limited 🙂 with a V8 rumble as well ;-) Nice vid, nice car! why lowered - ? cheers Mike
@ThatsClassiccarsАй бұрын
Oh nice 👌 gotta love that V8 rumble … it’s a bit of a trend evolving at the moment of lowering 4x4’s.. it’s only a little lower than standard so you still get the ground clearance but tighter in the corners …
@michaelh.3982Ай бұрын
@@ThatsClassiccars I have several cars with V8 - it's a must almost ;-) ... I love old/classic LandRovers, many years ago I owned a 109 Series 3 station 6 cyl and later a 88 2a softtop. Unfortunately I sold them both. Completely mad today... I regret it badly😞 1993 my father who passed away in 2017, had offers for a Range Rover and a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2. I think, my dad wanted actually a RR, but the gap was huge. He wasn't willing to spend a 6 digit amount. The Jeep was cheaper, more power, bigger engine, and technical more reliable and like US do, easier or more simple in engineering. On the end, a hunter green Granny with 318 magnum engine came to us - I remember well that spectacle.... I was sweet 20 then... Today Jeep still with me. Mike, Switzerland

I had an xjr6 and the speed used to make me laugh. I was on the motorway and it was dark and no one else about so I thought I’d have some fun. I floored the noisy pedal and got to about 130 mph and looked at the inst fuel consumption readout. It said 1. One mile per gallon. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 but I loved it. Had to go though coz we got a dog.

my 76 F150 has some ratty carpet in it. its maybe saveable but i hate cleaning carpet anyways and would prefer the clean look of rubber/vynil floor BUT in canada , it seems those cost just as much as carpet, $400 cdn SO can a guy do a full sound deadening treatment with kilmat or something then Spray over to pit with raptor liner or any textured flor covering? or should a guy forego kilmat altogether and just spray extra thick raptor liner like about 1/4 thick and try kill 2 birds with one stone? UNLESS u know a place to get th molded vynil replacements for dentside fords shipping to canada alot less than say 325 Usd?400ish cdn
