Important note is on some small engines the kill switch actually grounds out the mag. So if you have an engine that won't turn off the kill switch likely has a bad ground. This is common when the kill switch only has 1 wire.

oh boy. I think I just found out why my shutoff switch stopped working on my Honda generator. It stopped working and I have to run it out of fuel to shut it off. I'll check my grounds!

I got one for $10 from coworker...I go to ride it and pop clutch to start and it starts and idles low but will not rev up at all whatsoever and therefore the bike does not move

Can you post the link to the company where you got the belt from? I haven't had great success with my belts lasting very long. Also, do you keep the ring on when using the CVT. I've read its optional, but maybe this is part of my problem.

When connecting the wires, you don’t have to open the radio/stereo to plug it inside? Just the cigarette lighter plug? And I do have a USBC adapter for any cord in case I don’t have one

Glad you like it, yah just plugs into the outlet and nothing else. You can get ones that wire directly to the radio that are more complicated to install, and they give a better sound since there's no static, but what I have here is crazy simple and easy

Most scooters actually have both a centrifugal clutch and a CVT. the belt lasts a lot longer with the clutch

Nice! It'd be nice to see what some efficiency mods did like a tuned length intake and exhaust. A tuned length intake needs a properly designed bell mouth to really work. A tuned length exhaust needs David Vizard's Pressure Wave Terminator Box before the silencer. Calculators for pipe length and diameter are available online, as is the Pressure Wave Terminator Box. IIRC those little mufflers rely on high restriction rather than proper design to be quite, NOT good for power/economy.

it automatically turns off with the car in my case, but if yours stays on all the time then you will definitely want to unplug it if your vehicle is sitting for long periods of time not being driven

Sadly, I've used devices like this and if you drive alot you will have to switch stations and sometimes there just aren't good stations and the audio can be poor.
