Such a fun ride. One of my favorites. The dragon tail to drop is also a great feature

So true! we'll have to hit that next time for sure!!

Never seen anyone hit the diving board at Floyd on a hardtail, mad mad respect for that. Felt like my SB130 LR could use more travel in the back for that hit, but damn, I guess I was wrong! Happy shreds out there.

Yep it was a rough hit but the quality parts on the bike handled it well! I'll be having a full suspension soon but that hardtail can do so much for sure surprisingly lol. Happy shredding to you too!!

Hey man still doing custom frame?
@BenCarano2 жыл бұрын
Hey! yah, I'm pretty solid with the hardtail design, and I'm working on the 3rd full suspension prototype now, and then I'll be starting to post publicly about them here on the channel as well as getting the website started! Can't wait to release the full suspension build. It's coming along really well ;)

@@BenCarano how much would it be to build a hardtail frame that has vbrakes that can adjust from 24, 26, or 27.5 in wheel like hole and a bolt where it can adjust the brake points. and have the length of a 26in frame. Sorry that it is alot.

@@josephcervantes6872 That's definitely a cool idea, but unfortunately it would cause a strength issue in the frame. There is a critical bend that has to go past the rim of the wheel to obtain the proper flex and strength, and having just straight tubes with multiple v-brake mounts would affect that a lot. I totally understand what you are saying though. It could probably be done but might add a lot of unnecessary weight to the frame from the design compromise. Most people who want to run different wheel sizes use disc brakes because the setup can be the exact same regardless of the wheel size as long as the hubs fit

@@josephcervantes6872 it's possible, just wouldn't feel comfortable selling something like that yet without the proper testing and such knowing that the design would affect the strength a lot. And the whole design / prototyping / testing process is many thousands in itself haha. Hopefully you understand :) I'd be happy to answer more questions of course and feel free to contact my email in the about section of the channel

This its my tablets account, ill confirm it later when I get my phone. Yes I understand, I was just asking because it would be a bike that I could change the height on depending on the rider(I love vbrakes) could you build a frame that runs 24inch wheel(I love the 24" wheel size) that is the length of a large 26inch frame? I would run it with a 26 in the front(mullet set up) Thanks for your time.
