Loml is loss of my life because she only ever says you told me I’m the love of your life,and as for the album if you read the intro to the album she describes the period that she’s writing about a mutual manic phase, and compares the two inspirations as an oven and a microwave both hurt her the same in different amount of time. So to me this album is her ranting and writing every thought she’s having during her manic period. It’s like word vomit to get through all the emotions she hasn’t processed whether by her own doing or by others. She addresses the public a lot as a vehicle that drives her destructive choices as we don’t give her the right to be human we automatically demand her energy and her stories

I much prefer the original version. It's about teenage angst, which comes through in the original. The newer version is much more polished and professionally recorded, drained of the original emotion. Sort of like an AI version of the song.

A lot of the vocals you are hearing are salvaged vocals from the video of her in her room singing raw because they couldn’t be recreated in the studio so they did their best to salvage the audio

3:19 I’m almost positive she does that to negate any accusations of over-tampering and editing as she’s extremely good at singing and playing. No hate, but the fact you want more editing sound is an unfortunate side effect of listening to over edited and “perfected” studio music rather than appreciating someone’s raw talent which is what should be showcased in a live setting. I know this video is old, but I will never understand why people think it's a good idea to stop a song multiple times and ruin the feeling of the song. It absolutely ruins it. Just play the song. If you want to talk about something specific, then replay those parts after. But damn, cutting up a song like this is just awful.

I agree with everything that you said. I know that a lot of fans do miss Avi and wish he came back but I like Matt just as much as Avi. When I watched the Hollywood Bowl 2022 and they did the Evolution of Pentatonix, you'd think that Matt was part of the group the entire time. My all time favorite original is Please Santa Please and I give great props to Kirstie and Kevin for writing that song. I really think that Kirstie is overlooked but her and Mitch have always been my favorites.
