I remember playing this game behind my parents back when I was 10 with my best friend who introduced me to it. We had only become friends a week or so before that. We're still like brothers and still keep in touch to this day. Also made three additional friends who I consider brothers, and I made these friends through this game. This will forever be my favourite third person shooter/horror out there. Not to mention I think the soundtrack still holds up, even with the remake being out and the OG being very outdated by this point Edit: I thought the remake was also up there, voice actor drama aside. [SPOILER ALERT] Also really hope we get to see Ashley become an agent as she herself hinted toward after the wrecking ball in the remake

Gods, this game makes my heart ache with memories of playing RE4 every day with my late dad for years. We sunk so many hours into that game together and got a PS2 just for the superior version of RE4. We played this so much that one day when he got home from work, he glanced at the planter barrel out front that looks almost identical to the barrels in RE4 and thought to himself, "I really hope there's shotgun shells in there, I think I'm running low." He realized how silly it was for that thought to creep up on him, came through the front door chuckling to himself and told me about it.

You locked yourself in a abandoned cellar to protect your self from who was just trying to gut you like a deer, you listen for any sounds, and then you wait. Tomorrow is another day, and your safe, for now…….
