I was planning to do a show with a friend today and I woke up with a stomach bug. So I celebrated Memorial Day in the bathroom. Not what I planned, but I made the best of it. I hope you guys had an awesome day.

Heather, Paul and the whole gang, I like to spend part of Memorial Day reflecting on those who I know that served our country. My great-great Grandfather who served as a Union soldier in the Civil war, my cousin Steve who served during WW2, my father-in-law who served during the Korean war, my big brother who served during the Vietnam war and my nephew who served during the Gulf war. I also remember people who were my neighbors growing up like Johnny who was badly injured during the Vietnam war and Jerry who died as a result of Agent Orange. Let us not forget that even if they survived the war they carried it with them for the rest of their lives. Cousin Steve was taken prisoner by the Germans, put in a concentration camp then forced to walk in the death march. Following the war both of his feet were amputated due to the severe frost bite. My great-great Grandfather (Daniel) was a prisoner at Andersonville. He suffered from scurvy as a result and although it "healed" my mother said that part of his shin bones in both legs were visible for the rest of his life. My big brother (Marc) suffered from a good deal of hearing loss as a result of the loud noises he was exposed to. Thank you Heather for serving our great country! Lisa Sherrill

Some meds cause a cough but if you just have a cough, the DT sells a tiny pill called a cough pill. My hubby in construction, working off the ground most days used these and would not be without them
