I think FL Studio should partner more closely with SoundCloud through a streamlined service. Users could pay a monthly fee that includes both the cloud service and SoundCloud Pro. This would surely benefit both companies. FL Studio could enable direct posting to SoundCloud and distribution to SoundCloud's distribution services. Unlike DistroKid, SoundCloud doesn't face the same issues, so a partnership like this could work out much better.

If you don’t like the product, don’t buy it. They give lifetime free updates and people still complain? Guess what I’m about to type next

I literally can not use any of the vst plugins I downloaded. As the VST file gets turned into the FL cloud launcher thing. :(

I can understand your anger towards Distrokid Distribution and FL-Mastering. But as a professional, those 2 features of FL Cloud are not a thing I even look at. - Of course we have a mastering engineer, who does the mastering and fore quick mastering, you should better use a preset of Ozone11, so this feature won't even be used. - Self-Distribution on some shady provider such as Distro-Kid is a bad idea in any case. Either, you release on a well known, industry-proven and powerful label OR you found your own label with a proper distribution, such as Kontor New Media - where there are acutal people sitting in the office that you can mail or call and talk to, if there is something wrong. I subscribed to it to support FL Studio. It is the foundation of my income, so I like to give something back. They do lifetime free upgrades - thats so insane. Normally I would have to buy a new version each year, like Ableton does. Yes - the sample-lib is pretty small at the moment and I am still using splice most of the times, but I feel, they will grow it over time. I am really curious about the plugins they now added to the menu.

Auto-Gain Compensation is something I wish could be built into a more advanced mixer as a native feature. Since so many third party plugin developers tend to rely on the "louder is better" to sell their wares, it would be good to be able to audition how those plugins perform without increasing the gain from the plugin. If it were integrated to FLS' mixer, you could activate Auto Gain on any mixer slot to prevent its plugin from adding additional dB to the output. Simple have FL Studio gain match the output from a specific plugin to its input, whenever Auto-Gain Compensation is activated for that mixer slot. That would make comparisons of what each plugin is and isn't doing to the input audio so much more easily. I believe Image-Line even own Melda Production who produce their own third-party plugin MAGC, if they wanted to save some R&D time, just give those guys a go at it.

User generated content on FL Cloud would be awesome. I'm not talking about just sounds either but presets for native synths and FX, patcher, themes, colors and icon presets etc. Perhaps with some micro payment option to give people an opportunity to make some cash and motivate hard work and a rating and review facility. That would be damn cool.

It's better not to use loops in any digital distribuitor. Just our own creation from scratch.

Isnt there a way to do this in a DAW? I was using TB_Morphit for a time
@SimonTheSpeedmon26 күн бұрын
Definitely, even without any specialized application you could just use an EQ on the master. I wouldn't really recommend it though, because if you do it inside the DAW, this obviously won't affect any other part of your computer, like KZbin or your normal media player.

Is there a way to save the plugin made with patcher so you can load it into n other daw?
@yepyepmusicАй бұрын
for mastering you just need a compressor, soft clipper, equalizer, and a true peak limiter (that you can probably get for free). i just don't see why would you need fl studio's mastering. it's not very customizable, and to be honest, i don't really like fl's compression sound.

2:00 If I remember correctly the starting point for the adjustments was a headphone equalized to match a flat in-room response of a loudspeaker. So the response after adjustments was fairly close to a response of a anechoically flat loudspeaker in a good room (downward slope).
@ResolveReviewsАй бұрын
Good video. The one concern is that autoEQ has some issues where people feel this is where their adjustments should stop. But really it's FROM there that the adjustments should start.

I'm having a problem using this with a sidechain: I have all my instruments/sounds routed to a pre-master track on the mixer; this track has the patcher. I'd love to just smack my sidechain tool (Kickstart2 in my case) on that track, but then it would of course affect everything - which sucks. Is there a workaround for this that I am missing? Besides recording the audio...

3 THINGS I LEANERD SINCE: 1. Using a longer sweeps (1M or 2M) does give slightly better results 2. Using "Var Smoothing" instead of "1/12 Smoothing" is more suited for calibrating speakers 3. Your Room-Speaker System shouldn't be completely flat, but be close to the Harman target for speakers. For more info check this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGPSqJmtfrdqlaM

Look up music royalties bro! ASAP!!!!!
Nice tip for the Button (Always Down). Something I do to not have to Invert my Values for my "Bypass" Buttons...is just name them "ON" instead of "Bypass" Funny how we normalize things that are the opposites. Activating a Button...to Deactivate an Effect :]

I feel like a multiband imager might be a bit redundant, since you already have one in Maximus. I could still do one though I guess, it coult be a fun project to see waht extra features you can add. multiband saturation also sounds like a cool idea!
