Just got drawn in the 2025 ballot. How'd you go organising a boat? Was it through a mate or charter? Save me an arm and a leg if i didnt have to take my boat halfway around the country

You needed one of those Rambo knives with a built in compass, fishing line, hooks, wire and matches.

Halfway though at the moment. Good watch so far mate....why on earth didn't you ask the other Hunter for a box of matches lol. Tie a ferros rod to the inside of your backpack when you get home and never take it off.
@theaussieoutdoorsman24 күн бұрын
Planning on doing the ferro rod! Nearest hunter was probably a half day walk round trip and I didn’t want to loose the hunting time

Great work Synjon, bonus of bows. I shot at a boar in NT and went, like yours under the belly. Rookie error 😂🤦♂️😬 didn’t look though peep. Pig look up then went on feeding. I looked through the peep next shot and it was down in 3 meters at 33.

You night consider taking lessons. You hit 2 animals, seriously injuring them. Unless this is an exercise in cruelty or stupidity I cannot work out. On ireland we'd call you a gobshite. Aim fir a clean kill. This is not a game for boys.

@@theaussieoutdoorsman The way you guy's take care of the meat with the cooler trailer is outstanding, I was a Guide in Alaska and try to be understanding of the station owners and the water/camel situation, I wonder how it tastes?

Hunting in 40°C weather seems crazy to me! Our hunting seasons in Canada it's never more than 10 to 15 max. I have never even felt temperature above 30 lol. I think I'd have to have a generator and a freezer in the back of the truck 24-7 Anyways great videos!
@theaussieoutdoorsman10 ай бұрын
yea it can be a difficult hunt especially mentally! however i kind of prefer chasing them in the warm weather as you know they will concentrate on the water. If we could get a freezer truck out there we would! thanks for watching

You said "I have to work smarter not harder" bloody oath you do...... : 1. You need target practice (a donkey is a big beast yet it took 5-6 shots to put it down) 2. : Why would you not drive all the way to your target, the land is flat he is going to see you no matter what (you really did not need to stalk in that terraine) save time and effort 3. Be prepared. The way you took the first shots, then stopped removed the backpack and shot 2-3 times more before you hit means you have no plan you then had to run back to the car which could have easily been driven right to where you made the shot and probably even closer. By wasting all that time your plans for the night camp went out the window, and did not seem to have an alternative plan. I know your only a young fella and the videos are pretty interesting but if you want to be an elite hunter start using your head more. Good luck I look forward to a future video.

yup a donkey is a big beast and they are bloody tough, they are constantly shot at from vehicles so not much chance of getting close with one
