Just tried your recipe, I love it, you are right they do not last long. Do you have any more recent videos from maybe a year ago ro present time?

This same recipe works well with apple slices instead of sweet potatoes. I use light brown sugar.

People always shake their head when I tell them the best creamed corn ever is from a chain restaurant. Never had a "secret homemade" recipe that beat it.

I came upon your recipe about a year ago and have been making it since. It's always a hit! Today we are having a bbq and pool day at my parent's house and I currently have a cream of corn batch in the slow cooker. I can't wait til it's ready 😋 Yum!!!

Has to be corn tortillas if it's a taco. Flour tortillas make it a burrito. 😊

So, can I use Hillshire Farms’ kielbasa, since we don’t have Conecuh brand sausage? Or do I need something else?

Ok. My son, who lives in the Charleston, SC area did this for jalapeño poppers when we were down there last Winter. Now I’ve made these several times for an appetizer. Very similar to yours, but he stuffed the halved jalapeños with pimento cheese, then wrapped each with bacon. Wow! We love them! Now I have to try your version. Sometimes I use a bag of the mini red and orange peppers and stuff them and wrap with bacon. Both are delicious. Thanks for the recipe.

Way too spicy for me with all that red pepper flakes.

I buy packets of different flavored mixes from a company called Savory fine foods. Their instructions tell you to put the flavor packet into a 2 gallon ziplock bag with canola oil (1and 2/3 cups), and then mix in the bag. Duh! Never thought to mix in a jar first.

It’s very hard to get it all mixed well in the bag! Thanks for the tip.

I’m wondering if lining the sheet pan with parchment would help. It may not prevent the pepper jelly from burning, I guess. But cleanup would be easier.

In Michigan we have hot hamburgers but they are served on I piece of bread thst is on top of mashed potatoes and topped with brown gravy. Everything else is the same. Some add mushrooms. The sauce used is usually worcestershire.

They are a staple here in my part of Canada, only I’ve never had one with cheese or onions. They are usually served with peas and french fries.

This was absolutely amazing. I did the taco seasoning but not the potato... i made a 1/2 size. I added the taco seasoning to 1lb 97/3 ground beef, 1 can Rotel and I added about 3 tablespoons of jalapeno juice from the jar to about 5/8 block of velveeta. Wow it came out wonderful! Like Vinnie said.. you will know when it is right... i originally had just shy of 1/2 block of velveeta, but ended up adding about 1/5 th more a new block to get the consistency I wanted. This is now in the staple of dips for Game Day! Thanks Vinnie.. I sub'd as well.

Hate to correct everyone but a flour tortilla makes it either burrito or fajita. Can't call it a taco if it's not a heated or crunchy CORN tortilla. Still like your recipe 😋
