3:50 bad take imo. The scene where they use the main theme is a tad corny but besides that the music compliments the story so well. There’s a ton of moments that would not hit the same if they didn’t have the musical presence that they did.

as a hasan enjoyer, i usually take his media opinions with a grain of salt (arcanes music fucking bangs. im gen z so dont even do the millenial-coded bs) but him being a jayvik truther like me makes me unreasonably happy. cause yeah. theyre gay. Christian Linke only coming out with this AFTER huge backlash about what he said about Jayce and Viktor, no mention of asexuality in the show, and nobody else who worked on it (or anyone involved in the supposed “asexual rioters” conversation) backing him up at all makes this complete null and void in my mind. It just feels like a last ditch attempt to try and appease people by throwing SOME kind of representation at the wall and hoping it sticks, JK Rowling suddenly claiming Dumbledore as gay after the books and movies already ended-esque. I do like the idea of gay ace Viktor though (not mutually exclusive like CL seems to think!!)

Jinx is imo one of the most interesting and engaging characters to watch in the show. That being said, I also hated her by the end of season 1 (just frustrated with a lot of her decisions and the whole situation). Her healing arc in season 2 totally endeared her to me, though.

@@minusChen I think since Jayce only has a romantic relationship with Mel in the show, he "canonically" isn't bisexual. One of the writers of Arcane also only sees Viktor and Jayce as having a brotherly relationship, so it definitely wasn't intended for Jayce to come across as bisexual, lol.
