My opinion only, I really don’t like it and it looks very uninspired. I had high hopes with those beautiful pink walls. I will remember though, that she is not a designer. She’s a broker with unsophisticated taste.

Personally always liked the tuscan style. And I don't see anything wrong with it being Americanized, as I think it was done in a tasteful way. But I'm also not a trend chaser. Just like what I like

That part about houses with these kitchens being the best places to hang out is true! My childhood friend had a house decorated in that style and we always got the best snacks and things there. Also extremely friendly warm people.

Hi Italian from Napoli here I wanted to add something to the story because the bit about Italians not using to have espresso at home is true, espresso is called so because it means fast in Italian and it's a way of making coffee that as you explain uses the pressure to make coffee instantly, and the first machine to make espresso was made for an Expo exhibition in Milan and is one of those big machines that only bars had. So when Bialetti invented the Moka it made possible to have an expresso (so a fast coffee) made at home. But in Italy there were already other kinds of coffee making machines that were not fast and they didn't use pressure they were a bit more similar to the infused kind of coffee that's made in America which takes bit mor time to make, in Naples there was one of these machines which is the Neapolitan moka where you put hot water in it and then it filters slowly the coffee you can look It up if you want to know more

A bit late to the party with this comment, but I think (certainly here in the UK) one reason for MCM's popularity is that certain design features work well in smaller rooms and homes. MCM lounge chairs, for example, have legs or pedestals, rather than reaching all the way to the ground. So you can see the floor extending underneath the piece, giving an impression of more floor space. Long, low pieces such as sideboards also accentuate the feeling of space and ceiling height. They're just generally less "bulky" than many older, or even contemporary, pieces.

I don’t trust expired dates. I rely on smell, taste and the date I purchased that I’ve written on the item.

I always think how perfect you look in this dress each time you wear it in a video. The square neckline and the fitted bodice. Please wear more fitted clothes as you look so pretty in them.

What a massive oversight that there is no list with product links in the description. And if the pieces are no longer available, at least links to a list of visually similar items on the Wayfair site. Now I am searching on the web for products because searching on Wayfair for these items was a shot in the dark and total pain.

Sorry, but Art Nouveau had nothing to do with "rage against the machine", it's the opposite, thanks to the industrial revolution there was optimism for prosperity (for the upper class) and hence they wanted to express that feeling with "something new" (match this with the "Fin de siècle"-feeling at that time). Looking at Belgium, at that time in the center of the industrial revolution, those who could afford a house in art nouveau style, where industrialist like Solvay. The houses by Victor Horta were very expensive! Victor Horta made use of the new products that were the result of the industrial revolution, things like wrought ion, stained glass, steam bended wood,... his stair cases were almost always like winter gardens bringing light in the center of his houses. And this was only possible with these new industrial products. In architecture, the art nouveau died together with the economical crisis of 1929. After '29, art deco took over as it was cheaper to build and produce. The "international style" became popular in architecture around the same period as it was even cheaper to build than art deco due to the lack of any ornamentation.
