American news media actually disgusts me, its so unprofessional and over sensationlised even at its best to me its shocking. You guys dont have a nationalised media source too, so you have to rely on scummy for profit private companies like fox and even when fox news lose the biggest defemation court case ever, losing 2 billion in the case for LIES they made about the dominion voting machines, the american public still dont care. Imo you should still use traditional media sources, try ground news or something like that, try the BBC, just dont get info from social media and podcasts please, a lot of them are bought and paid for too, its much easier to buy a random twitter dude or podcast than the BBC which is state funded for example, use multiple sources and critical thinking, dont be a sheep of a different flock. Im so thankful for the BBC as shit as it is. We have the sun and gb news which are trying to be fox news so bad, fortunately many brits hate them and dont consider them real news.
