I went to visit my sister and my nephew who was about 5 or 6 at the time… while I was there I went to the end of the road to the local shop. My nephew wanted to check if his walkie talkies worked at that distance so as I was walking I kept checking in with him and letting him know where I was- anyway I got to the shop and told him I was at the shop the. Proceeded to pick items up and go to the till to pay; there was one woman in front of me being served when all of a sudden the walkie talkie in my pocket said “COME IN UNCLE IAN…COME IN UNCLE IAN” I smiled at the people around me as I frantically went to put my items down to turn the walkie talkie down 😂 then he started singing “THE GRAND OLD DUKE OF YORK, HE HAD 10,000 MEN” 😂😂😂😂 I couldn’t stop laughing cos nobody around me found it funny

Amazing that you don't grasp the meaning of "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". It's basically saying that it's a bad idea because if any get thrown back, your house will get damaged because it's vulnerable. So the metaphor is saying - don't be a hypocrite. For example, don't accuse someone of being bad at maths if you are bad at maths yourself.

A lollipop lady or man is a school crossing person escorting the kids across the road. The lollipop is a 6ft pole with a round stop sign on it to stop the traffic.

McDonalds has been sh*t food from day one. Absolute garbage that i wouldn't feed a starving homless person. US, UK across Europe and all over the planet it's all the same. Terrible food that only idiots and the stupid would feed themselves and their children. If i was in charge of a country i would put a complete ban on McDonalds!

Multi-cultural: When I first moved to Sydney Australia from New Zealand 43 years ago, I was surprised to discover that around 30% of Australia's adult population was not born in Australia. And that there were more than 140 definable ethnic groups living in this city. Hearing all those different languages was amazing - Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Arabic, Greek, Italian, Various South American languages and all the different cuisines in the restaurants. It was an eye-opener for my kiwi family moving here. Power outlets: There are switches on the outets in the UK and other countries like Australia is we have more than twice the voltage as in the USA. USA is 110V and in Britain, Australia, NZ, many other countries its 240V. Far more likely to get killed by a short circuit in those countries. - Mike K

if the clock could know when you die, whatever you would do it would already know of it. So the clock saying you are going to die in 4 min might actually make you die in 4 min.

You need to check out the original ELO from the 1970's that's much better. This now is known as Jeff Lynne's ELO. Also check out ELO part 2 they used the moscow state orchestra from the tour of england and europe in the early 1990's. ELO pt 2 in Birmingham.

You should do a movie review on the movie Bohemian rhapsody. It follows Queen from the very start. I think it is a fantastic movie, and quite moving towards the end.

Redcliffe, Queensland has a nice tribute to their former residents and it’s a chilled little seaside town. Like many ex-pat British Australians they cut their musical teeth locally before the world became their stage.

I'm writing this in general, not specifically for this episode: Karl has a perfectly logical and sensible way of thinking in a lot of situations. I wish more people were like that. I like Ricky, but sometimes he overplays the "I'm an intellectual" role.

Sarah Millican had a talk show at one time. I dont think it's on air any more - I can't see that working with her touring schedule. But she was spectactularly good with guests. Unlike most talk show hosts, she managed to maintain the focus to no matter who the guest was it was still HER show. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZ3Gg59qf991q7csi=9dvXorLSbrJEbark

At 72, I was lucky enough to have lived through their era and today this is still probably the best grop ever to record songs. Every one was excellent. I don't think they ever made a bad record on all the years of production.
