Sega tuvo la oportunidad de hacer grandes cosas y adelantarse a los hechos, pudo haber vendido los discos más baratos que los cartuchos, pudo promocionarla vendiendo más packs de juegos en un solo disco, pudo internamente incentibar el exprimir el hardware, incluso pudo comenzar esa idea que tuvo sony de hacer de una consola un objeto mutliusos reproduciendo cds de musica, videos, juegos y otras cosas, pudo hacer mucho con este add on, pero lo desperdició, y si este fue mal usado, mega 32x de plano no debió de existir
