😮😢 looks like you're recording a good storm there. James, looks like the winds are going between 50 and 70 mph. I'm surprised the trees across the street where you're filming from haven't fallen down yet. Nice video though. I enjoyed it thank you

Until I read your description about a 'driving holiday' I was wondering what you were doing so far away from QLD. Nice footage too !

I had plans to "find snow somewhere". I'd booked a camp site in Kosciusko NP but when I saw OP snow was possible (and I picked up a bug) I decided not to go far south and stay in motels. Not quite as much snow as I hoped but still good. I hope to do the trip again sometime. It was a long drive home!

Nature is an amazing thing. We are too arrogant to live in fantasy we overpowered it, but it created us & knows how to balance it. With or without us

INSANE! One, who isn't shackled by this view, could have an atomic bomb going off next county and wouldn't care...That's what I feel like..I don't get how someone can not even be fascinated, if not mindblown, by these nature phenomenons.

Now that the power of mother nature. Oh, man, I wish I was there to see that. That’s the kind of stuff that gets people killed when it comes to Tornadoes in Super cells.

I've noticed that moving cumulus nimbus storms tend to be the ones that develop tornadoes, but the stand still cumulus nimbus cloud structures do not, but still do dump torrential rains straight down that can produce powerful wind shear and lighting that stay constant over just a localized area.

Beautiful mid layer instability at the right. At the left it looks like higher pressure, still a bit humid. Love this kind of air mass.
