I had forgotten Paul Lamb and how good he was , If my memory is correct he played in 3rd position a lot , anyways I'm going to dig out his recordings I have stored away 20 years ago . thanks for the good lessons , I find your lessons very useful mainly because a harmonica player in a band plays more backup more than leads . I played when a harmonica was about $2.50 , now the same one is $ 60 , ouch !

Ed, your playing is jaw dropping to me! Your technique is amazing and I believe pretty unique. In trying to exercise this rhythm, the hardest thing I struggle with is stacking my breathing. I just can’t exhale enough to keep going for long. How do you release enough air to keep going? Thanks
@TheHarmonicaBarge
@TheHarmonicaBarge Ай бұрын
Thanks so much for the compliments! Yes the air intake factor is tricky. Try and really use the out breath to get that air out ( without it sounding like you're doing it:) you can also try and get a bit out your nose when you breathe out - this may help. And build up the stamina, keep adding 10 secs- say play for 30 secs, then 40 etc till you're up to a minute
